Fantastic price for a little extra peace of mind
These are VERY convincing!! Just to check it out, I shined one through my bedroom window, out onto my car in the community parking lot. When I made a midnight run later that night to cure the munchies, I was quite pleased to look up at my window and see the little red dot (blinking red light) which shined right onto my car. It does make me feel safer, although it was not my car that got messed with, fortunately, but rather: the sprinkler head close to it keeps getting busted, resulting in a lot of water spray in the direction of the car, and I would like to keep that type of reckless vandalism to a minimum. I figure: If a blinking red light can be seen from the window, at least the vandal will go attack a different sprinkler head next time. My preference is he or she will finally get bored with this mischief, and find something better to do. These nifty little fake cameras will surely help to speed up that process.

No Power? No Problem —Surprisingly Convincing!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these fake security cameras for a property I’m currently renovating that doesn’t have electricity. The place had been broken into before by a squatter, so I wanted something visible that would help deter any future unwanted visitors while I work on getting the place fixed up. These definitely do the trick. The red blinking light is surprisingly convincing, especially at night. Even without power to the house, the battery-powered light gives the illusion that the cameras are real and active. I installed one at the front of the property and one at the back to cover both main points of entry. For added realism, I even attached a small piece of wire to each unit to make it look like it’s wired into the house—just a small detail, but it really sells the effect.Installation was a breeze. They’re lightweight and come with the hardware needed to mount them quickly. They also have a nice, sturdy look from a distance and blend in well with the exterior. From the street or driveway, you’d never guess they aren’t functional. So far, so good—no break-ins or suspicious activity since putting them up. Of course, I know they aren’t actually recording anything, but the visual presence alone seems to be enough to make people think twice. For the price, you really can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a temporary or low-cost deterrent. If you’re dealing with a vacant property or any space without electricity, I definitely recommend these as an added layer of security. They’ve given me a little extra peace of mind while I focus on the renovations.

Unboxing the dome camera with STEPS
Attached are photos of the unboxing of the cameras. They take two AAA batteries, and they are made of plastic. I have attached a measuring tape of the actual size. Directions do come in the box. The batteries are not included and installed through the Lense cap. Two stickers that state, "24 HOUR SECURITY CAMERAS RECORDING" are enclosed with the package. The light blinks mimicking a regular camera. I will mount the camera on a piece of wood then attach it to my home. The plastic is not as strong as a regular security camera, but it will do the job for now. Screws are included with anchors. I will update post if in the near future I experience anything new.

AWESOME purchase!
These “cameras” do an EXCELLENT job!! I have one mounted pointed at my front door and one at the back door. Definitely a deterrent for criminals! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great fake cameras to deter bad actors!
They’re realistic enough to work. Good quality for what they are. I know they’ll deter most folks even though they don’t have lights. A light would make them more realistic but that would require maintenance or a constant power source.

packaging is not discreet
The package clearly states that it is a dummy camera lol i didn’t like that, it should be more discreet packaging. They don’t have an on/off button so they run 24/7, will have to change batteries frequently. They’re okay, they are very affordable for someone who can’t afford a real security camera system.

Does The Job
Stuck these up along my fence line where I was getting graffiti. So far no one has painted our vinyl. 🤞🏼

Very disappointed, please read this
I don't know where to start on this one. A perfect example of poor Chinese quality. Arrived broken in the box, presumably bc it was previously used. The mounting stem can't support the weight of the camera and solar panel, and they fall off the mount which gets screwed to the house. Thinking these would actually work, I epoxied them back together.Next problem is that the charge is not sufficient to last much longer than a couple hours. Each time the batteries go dead, I have to climb the ladder to turn them back on. (every day).Third issue is that these do NOT have full adjust ability, so you may get ton to fit on the left side of the house, but not the right ! Furthermore, I had to figure out myself jn order to rotate the camera on the mount, you must loosen the 2 Philips screws first & then re-tighten after. Of course, no instructions are provided explaining how to do this.If I could, I would have given these negative 2 stars. I found this item to be very cheaply made, with with plastic that is so awful it melts if you try to wipe an epoxy fingerprint with mineral spirits. Real cameras it now is, these are going back and hopefully into a landfill somewhere. 'nuff said.
