Adjustable Footrest for Home Office, Or Under Desk Ergonomic Foot Rest (Footstool) (Height Adjustable with Handler)

My husband uses this to elevate his legs because he has swelling due to chronic heart failure. Nothing else previously was comfortable. This has so many possible angles that we were able to find just the right disposition. We don't have room for a recliner chair, so we have this set up so that his legs rest as on a recliner chair. It easily slides backward out of the way for when he doesn't want it. So far it has been sturdy enough... just don't sit on it.The direction pictures are too dark, so were not very helpful in setting up. The most difficult step was opening up the foot rest. I put a hand each on two different parts of it and pushed pulled until it opened. I'm not even sure now what finally worked. The adjustment of angles is self evident and easy to do.

I bought this because I would like to have a foot rest under my desk that would give me the option to level out my legs on occasion. I was excited to find this product as its range is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I do not find it to be comfortable to rest my legs or feet on at all. The entire surface is hard plastic and I just couldn't ever find an angle to offset the hard surface. I also didn't find it easy to quickly adjust. I don't recommend this product. I have a cheap foot hammock from Uplift Desk that is not ideal but more comfortable than this.
