I have purchased over 5 of these over the years they are great DVR's and best option because all the different cameras you can pair with it. Has multiple monitor connector types as well as sound rec. input,this model does no use a remote control but the ones I have bought even worked great with wireless mouse with the usb chip. I did have one fail over the years not sure if it was due to a surge or something of that sort but at the price point I purchased not angry at all. Also the Zosi smart app is rated higher in the playstore than some of the known brand names and their apps. Hope this helps someone.

Bought this unit to replace a Talos dvr that failed after 6 years. I was able to use the already installed six year old legacy AHD H.264 cameras that were compatible with the legacy unit, but not compatible with similar new DVRS that are not "hybrid". Also, was pleasantly surprised that they sent an 8 channel DVR when the unit I bought was advertised as 4 channel. Really appreciate the front panel USB port. Beats sticking your hand in the web of cables and connectors in order to plug in a USB stick in the rear panel, especially when it is installed in a cabinet. It took a few minutes to unplug the old unit and plug this one in. Had it up and running in minutes. And the UI is easy enough for my 82 year old dad to operate for the basic task of reviewing events and playing back related clips. Great value considering it includes a hard disk. The "e-zoom" feature is remarkable quality even with the older cameras (albeit this is on a 45 " TV connected to the HDMI port. Will see how long it lasts, but my initial perception is that it is at least is of a quality of workmanship as the older more expensive unit that it replaced. And... it is just nicer and feature laden. The firmware is intuitive and works smoothly, much more solid feeling than the older unit. Loaded with network features that I have not yet configured or played with. will report back here if it doesn't last, but two thumbs up for now.

I got this security camera hard drive to replace another brand that stopped working. I already had my 4 wired cameras from the previous system. All I had to do was reconnect the existing wires to this hard drive. Setting it up was okay, but I have a monitor hooked up via ethernet directly to the hard drive, which is how I thought I would be viewing video footage. That is NOT the easiest way to watch and collect video. The "Zosi Smart" app is a much easier way to find and store videos. Any time I needed an answer on how to do something, Zosi's tech support was very prompt and did everything they could to remedy my issue. I DO have a microphone from the old system connected to one camera - I have yet to hear any audio off of it...... For some reason, even though I'm using the same cameras, the night vision is not a clear..... Not sure why..... Otherwise, great unit for the price and excellent tech support!!!

Awesome customer service always takes care of my issues. I've been dealing with this company for many years. Very affordable for the customer looking for that extra level of security. And the tech support is great many thanks to Slina for all the help whenever I have an issue which is not often. I have purchased at least 200 of these systems in the last 3 years out of those 200 I've had issues only out of three devices and that's after they were in the customer's home for many many months.

I replaced a Shwaun security dvr and this is such a better upgrade. It's user interface is simple and easy to use. Image seems very crisp and in better detail. I guess I didn't realize how poor the other dvr processed video from the cameras.

I bought this DVR to replace Zmodo DVR that stopped working several months ago. I tried SANNCE DVR but it didn't work, so I was surprised that Zosi DVR works. The image is not as clear and it is shaking, and I don't know why. I am happy that the DVR works with my Zmodo cameras and the tech support that I reached out prior to order the DVR was nice and promptly response to my questions. So far everything works after 3 days.

Zosi dvr and cameras are a really good buy , the zosi 1080p 4 channel system works great and the cameras with the led lights have great night vision.The company has good Customer service , They got right back to me when i had an email question .Very happy with my Purchase .

Great DVR THE APP CAN USE SOME UPDATES BUT IT WORKS VERY WELL GOOD FPS OUT OF EACH CHANNEL
