Impressive.
An impressive ECG monitor which is easy to use due to an intuitive design. It's just about as small as it can be and still show enough complexes and features of the rhythm to be useful. Backlit screen is a great feature especially if using outdoors. 2 ECG wires simplifies application. The rechargeable internal battery means not having to carry spares. A touch screen improves the ease of menu navigation. The waveform is clear and noise free using ECG leads. Even using the handheld contacts produces a readable rhythm. The Blutooth Android phone software is equally smooth and intuitive, enabling rapid export of captured ECGs. You can print or send an ECG from the app by clicking on the export to pdf icon and selecting the print icon or email, whatsApp etc. Or, select read as pdf file pdf file where you can edit this file to add name, age and notes etc. (if you have adobe acrobat installed on your phone). After years of reading ECGs, I'm fairly good at interpreting most rhythms and, as this device facilitates easy review and printout of the ECG it works really well for me. The only feature this unit lacks is automatic rhythm interpretation. It will say if the rhythm is regular or irregular but that encompasses everything from the occasional benign extra beat to fatal arrhythmia so not all that useful for the untrained user. You can of course show your GP the rhythm (if you can get an appointment. ;) Just getting an image of your heart rhythm is only the start. You might get a device that does interpretation at this price point, maybe with a subscription, and that might be best for someone who can't read ECGs. This one has a lot to commend it though so I am extremely happy I bought it.

Accurate and easy
This is a really good ECG monitor in such a small bit of kit which you can carry with you in a pocket. Very easy to set up and link via Bluetooth to your phone and via the supplied cable to your PC. Download the respective apps and off you go! I used the handheld method and the leads across the chest to record ECGs. The latter is more accurate than the former but both give you a clear record and the app gives a very accurate analysis of what's happening. Gave me great confidence in contacting GP surgery with the printouts of recordings at different times of day. For the money, I would say it's definitely worth buying.

A very well made and useful little device.
I bought this device as there was a waiting list to use the one provided by my doctor's surgery and I had suddenly developed a sporadic and irregular heart rhythm. Going on previous reviews, I decided on the Viatom Pulsebit because of the options for taking different recording lengths and and having a cable to connect to electrodes. As a former ECG technician, I have been really impressed with the design and accuracy of this machine, and after taking a number of 5 minute readings, I was able to recognise my arrythmia and understand its significance. The written instructions are easy to follow and I found it very easy to transfer the results to both my smartphone and my laptop. From the laptop, I could edit the recordings with my personal details, save them as PDF files and email them to my surgery. The readings using the connecting cable and electrodes are very clear provided that you keep still during recording. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars for ease of use was that the press stud connections to the electrodes are quite tight, so I would recommend connecting the cables to them before putting them in place on your body and it is quite tricky to get the neck loop through the small holes so that you can wear it around your neck. I have been using the Lead 2 position as it is best for a rhythm strip. You need put the white lead on your right shoulder and the red lead on your left hip, otherwise the ECG comes out upside down! I am very happy to recommend this little machine.

It seems to actually work!
I've been getting an increasingly more frequent painful heartbeat. GP kindly did an ecg and a 24hr recording that was normal as I was not symptomatic at the time. Things have worsened and as my surgery is so busy, they've stopped answering the phone, what do I do? So, looking on Amazon, I saw this bit of kit at a great black Friday price. After initial charging, I did a 5min recording and had the painful heartbeat, picked up by the machine. I waited 30 minutes and repeated it, same result. The attached pictures are my actual results where I was able to correlate my symptoms on the printout. Now I have actual evidence, I will get in touch with the surgery again to make an appointment. The device is easy to use and the app connected straight away so was able to Bluetooth the results in a matter of seconds for printing out a hardcopy. This has really helped me as I was made to feel it's stress or somehow, all in my head so now with actual hardcopy evidence, I should be able to get somewhere, hopefully before 2032!! This properly works. I wasn't a cardiac technician but I was an audiologist, recording evoked potentials so I'm used to collecting data via electrodes and analysing results and it all looks extremely clinically relevant. I would definitely recommend as it's cheaper than a private consultation but I would say you need to be confident using electronic devices, Bluetooth etc etc. VERY happy.

My GP was very impressed with the ECG reading with the Viatom health monitor
I’m a lady in my late 60s, and I suddenly started having regular palpitations every day, and felt dizzy with them, and they woke me up or stopped me from sleeping in the first place! I had an ECG done at my GP surgery and had an urgent referral to the cardiologist in April ( 49 week wait!) But I have actually got an appointment for next month, July, so not too bad. I decided to get an ECG machine for home use, and looked at several on here, including the KardiaMobile, and it got very good reviews, but what put me off was that the App to store all the readings on cost £9.99 a month! After reading all the reviews for this Viatom Health monitor, and the App is free, I saw it was on offer for £127, so decided to try it. I eventually got the hang of using it with the Bluetooth, but I got very frustrated, after getting the machine and phone to pair together, while doing a reading, but after doing the reading, the app said that the machine wasn’t connected! However, I soon realised that in order to download the reading onto the app, I just had to reconnect the Bluetooth on my phone to the machine, and, hey presto, the reading downloaded onto the app, and I was able to print the reading off to show to my GP. The GP I saw today was very impressed with how clear the readings were from this machine. The GP I saw in April actually scanned 3 of my readings and sent them onto the cardiologist, who started me on a low dose Beta blocker, 2.5mg of Bisoprolol. One odd thing with this machine is that you have to have 2 users registered on the machine before you can click on your name and do a reading! I just made up a second name!! I had to email the seller to ask why I couldn’t get the machine to work, and he said that the app needs 2 users registered on the machine! You can also get the reading reviews by AI, which I have found helpful. I am really pleased with this little machine. UPDATE 26th September 2023 - I saw a cardiologist today for the results of all my tests, and I showed him the readings that I had taken using this ECG machine over the past couple of months (I always use Lead one, bottom right on the diagram on the Heartcheck setting on the machine) and he was very impressed with how clear the readings were, and he made a note of the name of the Machine and where I got it from.

Not any use for providing an actual or accurate ECG
What a load of trash, you could get a better ECG with drawing one on a piece of paper. The leads are a total pain to connect and they pop off like fireworks, and the charge lead is so difficult to attach that charging often fails (the so called universal lead is so rare that I struggled to find a replacement, and the manufacturers website includes next to no detail, so doesn’t even tell you which lead it is). Overall this is not worth the money and is a third rate product at best.

After a few weeks of not using, the app is not picking up the readings from the device.
This worked great at first. I was able to download readings in PDF form and forward them to my GP. However, I left it idle for a couple of months and now the app is not seeing any of my latest readings. I downloaded the app again but it has made no difference. Started an online chat with the manufacturer's website, but I ended up chatting with myself. Sent a message so I'm willing to update my review if this is resolved. However, not too pleased at the moment.

Good product
Very expensive product. Bought it when i thought i had a heart problem. Turned out to be panic attacks. The product comes within a handy pouch with instructions on how to use. Happy to have spent what i did to convince myself that I was in fact ok.

Klein, robust, zweckmäßig, nimmt wenig Platz weg.

compact and capable
Got mine recently. It is small and portable. Closer in size to a credit card than a cellphone. The unit allows rapid storage of a rhythm EKG using external contact buttons on the unit. I have not tried the body leads yet. Very good tracings are possible. Better quskity if you are sitting or lying and without muscle tension. I have not tried the phone ir PC app yet. One negative: the USB charge cable is proprietary, which is a bummer
