They're great! Stylish, Inexpensive, and Comfortable Right Out of the Box!
I never write reviews but I was so impressed with these boots that I felt compelled. I wanted a lightweight, waterproof, comfortable, and reasonably attractive pair of boots to wear on a multi-city tour. I got them in the burgundy, which looks like a dark cordovan leather, rather than all-rubber. Really pretty. The toe has a nice shape, the heel is just the right height, and the proportion of elastic to rubber is just right. I normally wear a European 39, or a US 8.5 or 9, depending on the cut. I got these in an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I have extremely sensitive feet but the first time I wore these I walked around NYC in complete comfort. No rubbing (I was wearing socks so I can't speak to how they feel barefoot), no aching, no blisters, and the soles have great traction. I haven't worn them in the rain yet so I can't say if they're truly waterproof, but they're made of rubber so unless the seams leak, they'll be waterproof, except, I assume, for the elastic, which is to be expected in a Chelsea boot. The only other question is how durable they are, which I won't know for a while. But for the price, I honestly don't care.

Versatile boot, love them
I fell in love with these boots! Completely waterproof, easy to put on, easy to take off. Took a trek all over Scotland with these bad boys and they did not disappoint, very comfortable as well. Covered in mud out in the countryside one day, washed right off with just some water. They are my go to rain boot and still stylish to wear on a nice evening out.

Pretty Good Boots!
These boots are fantastic. They’re easy to slip on and very handy in the rain. I live in LA so I didn’t want to invest a ton on rain boots but we do occasionally get rain and these have been very useful. I got them two years ago and they show no signs of aging, granted I don’t wear them all the time, but they keep my feet dry and are comfortable. They are not insulated in anyway, so your feet can get a little cold. I wouldn’t recommend these in cold climates unless you double-sock it. I have received multiple compliments on these boots. So, highly recommended if you’re looking for a no frills simple rain boot!

Excellent waterproof ankle boots.
Great rain/water ankle boots. I work in a Garden Dept & these boots are awesome. Very comfortable. Fit perfect & no water gets inside. This is my 3rd pair. Always get compliments about them.

Endured 18 Months of Abuse haha
I bought these boots right before I began a proselyting mission for my church for 18 months. During that year and a half, I walked pretty much all day, every day on hard, European cobblestones, and these boots held up beautifully. They kept my feet dry in the rain, they had enough traction to keep me from slipping on wet cobblestones, and they look nice and went well with the more formal attire (skirts and dresses) that missionaries wear. And again, I literally wore these shoes almost every day for a year and a half. Yes, by the end, they were looking a little beat up and one of them was cracking, but still, with how much use I got out of them, I am very impressed. I will say this, though. Breaking them in was pretty terrible. I had terrible blisters on my ankles for, like, the first 4 weeks where the top of the shoes rubbed against my leg, but once my feet got used to them, they were fantastic for the remaining 17 months of my mission. Though, I will add here, that could be partially my fault because I pretty much wore these boots exclusively during that time, so I never gave my legs a break. I didn't "ease in to them", so to speak. I just wore them all day every day. So, long story short (sorry this is getting long and wordy), if you're willing to break them in, these shoes are fantastic and I loved them! They are extremely durable and look nice. 5 stars! :)

Beautiful boots, but…
I bought these shoes because of the price, I wanted a stylish pair of Chelsea boots and loved the look of these. They are beautiful and a good quality, but they’re really super uncomfortable after walking a bit. I wore them for two days straight and walked (casually through the mall) about 1-3 miles total over the weekend and my feet were KILLING me. I had to buy $25 insoles to make them comfortable which of course makes the boots almost too tight. My other concern is that I didn’t take them out for any romp in the woods, just a casual mall walk, and they already have visible marks on the boots, so I’m sure hiking with them won’t be recommended. I don’t think I’ll use them for gardening, as they’re stylish and I don’t want to ruin them, but I’ll use them casually for a day out. Overall, for the price I think they’re decent enough, but after this I think I’ll invest in a higher quality, albeit higher priced, pair of boots from MerryPeople or something. Pros: - sleek matte black - looks great - stylish - great price - waterproof - true to size Cons: - scratches easily - the insoles are NOT comfy - zero arch support - casual use only

High instep: Fit better than similar Bogs
I wear size 12's and was afraid these might not fit, but they're fine. They are marked 12/43, FWIW... I wish more listings in Amazon would show the metric sizes because some of us have a sense of our metric size. OTOH, I didn't think I'd fit a 43, so I probably wouldn't have tried these in a 12 had I known. (Or maybe I would have; my pair of similarly styled Bogs are also 12/43. They are larger than these, FWIW.) I have a high instep, and was worried about getting them on and off, but they work better in that regard than my Bogs. The Bogs are really hard to get on, but these Asgard's are just a bit hard to get on. I think the reason is at least in part because the gusset on the Asgards cuts lower than the Bogs. The trade-off, I think, is that the gusset is a place water can get in, and it's my guess that Bogs is preferring to keep your feet dryer in deeper puddles... but I don't know. (And I can't wear Sperrys at all because of my high instep. I literally can't get them on.) Of course, the Bogs are better boots in the sense of being better made and sturdier, but I seldom wear them because of the wrestling match involved. (Although on the flip side, the Bogs are not as "pretty", so if I'm really going to be mucking around in the mud, I'd probably wear those.) Color: I got the "starry blue", which I thought was navy with silver sparkles. It's not. It's black with turquoise sparkles. They're pretty cool looking, but not what I was expecting, so it'll take me a little while to fully embrace them. These would look great with a turquoise raincoat, but alas, my raincoat is navy. The insoles are glued in, FWIW, though one of mine is somewhat detached. So it's clear to me that these can be removed and you could put other liners in... but you can't have no liner at all. (I think mine were returns, FWIW, and that might be why the insole on one boot is already loose.) I might swap insoles to get better arch support, since I have the high arches that go along with the high instep. I have such a hard time finding fun rainboots, and usually end up with plain black, so these are very happy making. I might even buy another pair.

Fantastic rubber boot 🥾 👍🏻
These are fantastic rain boots! And a great price. I got them last year around Christmas and with moderate wear they have been great a year later! We live on a farm and I wear them when we go visit Dad in the chicken houses etc. I use them on wet winter days with a good pair of wool socks as well as regular socks on spring rainy days! They are an all year around sturdy rubber boot. I had also tried the Chooka boot, but this one makes your foot appear a lot more slender which I appreciated as a wide footed lady! I got an 8.5 (I can run anywhere between an 8 or 9 depending on the shoes width.) the 8.5 allows room for wool socks, but it doesn’t feel clunky with out the wool socks. I’ve never had the hunter Tabitha boots, but I do have the original hunter tall boot. Quality wise they seem like a solid rain boot when comparing them. I like this shorter version b/c they are easy to get in and off. I would not recommend them as your snow boot though.

Sent wrong size, charged for import, sent in a bag
Not sure what to say really except it was very disappointing to wait for an imported item and then recieve the wrong size. Ordered size 41, they sent 42. Imported product and they sent it in a bag? No box. Read great reviews for this, so was really excited. Anyway, shoe itself is nice enough. The top part, ankle area, is not snug. Not sure if that's the size or the design of the shoe. It is kinda comfortable right off the bat, isn't really stiff like other shoes. Has a nice elengant outer finish. Heel isn't too high or short. Anyway, sorry for the biased ish review. Three stars took one off for sending wrong size and for not offering free exchange option. Wasn't able to wear it for long but I'd probably rate it a 4 out of 5 boot. Returning and hoping they don't charge me fees even though I did nothing wrong. Edit: I tried to return this and was never able to. I sorta gave up trying, busy with life things, and so I still have it with me. Hey, maybe my feet will grow a size

I love these boots
I got these boots to replace GORTEX joggers, sick of coming home with wet feet. They are perfect for walking dogs on long wet grass and when it rains. I am happy with the size. I was surprised by how comfortable they are to walk in for however long I wish.

Stupende!
Fenomenali! Numero perfetto, pianta bella larga. Abito a Venezia per cui con l’acqua alta mi servono sempre. Le ho provate anche con la pioggia e tengono pure caldo perché dentro sulla pianta c’e una specie di pile che tiene il piede caldo. Bellissima spesa! Per il prezzo pagato poi!
