Great Gloves
These were a gift for my dad. He has very large hands and is difficult finding waterproof gloves that fit and actually keep his hands warm. We bought these for him to use while duck hunting. He loves them and says the were worth whatever we paid for them. I’m glad to finally find something that fits and keeps him warm!

Good Set of Gloves
I bought the gloves to use when it is cold out and duck hunting to set decoys and I kayak out to my spot on the lake so I need something that is durable but keeps me warm and dry. The gloves are waterproof, windproof, and almost anything proof. The exterior glove is built just like a machinists glove, so it looks like it will last a while. While the inside is a nice, comfortable fleece material. There are two reasons why I gave it only 4 stars is it is think and you cant really shoot with it (but that is why I bring a second set of shooting gloves) and the other reason is once it is wet, it stays wet until you throw them in a dryer (on low heat) or let them out to dry for a few days. For duck hunting and kayaking, they are great and would buy them over and over again, just bring a second set of shooting gloves if you are hunting.

Excellent gloves for winter activities
These gloves performed better than I could have expected. Bought them for a winter hunting trip to Ohio. Temperature was between 4° to 18° each day and I was getting hit with constant wind (felt like -10°). These gloves really made a huge difference in the amount of time I stayed up in the stand. Yes, they're bulky but you have to accept that if you want a pair of great insulated gloves like these. Fingering the trigger was not an issue at all. Windproof, waterproof (did a snow test before the hunt), and extremely warm. They fit great...so for the money I'd say you can't beat these. Will definitely buy another pair when the time comes.

I had a hand warmers in my gloves I had to remove them it felt like they were in an oven
I purchased these gloves for deer hunting. Very warm and waterproof. It does state in the product review but they have 80 grams of thinsulate. I had a hand warmers in my gloves I had to remove them it felt like they were in an oven. They are not the best for hunting, The fingers are bulky for using a bow or firearm. But very warm. Only issue I had is the size seems a bit off. I ordered XL first following the sizing chart and the XL size was tight. If you hand is on the larger end of the scale you may want to go up to the next size.

They didn't keep my hands warm enough
I bouhgt these gloves for warmth, for work (I need gloves, not mittens). I have yet found a pair of gloves that can last longer than 2 hrs. in 38 degree weather. However, I must say these gloves were warmer than the Youngstown Glove # 03-3450-80 that I had also purchased at the same time. I wish I could find a pair that "really" works at 32 degrees and below. The search continues.

Gloves
They are waterproof, but do trap sweat from your hands inside. When the outside of the gloves get wet they soak up water causing them to get heavy and a little uncomfortable. The inside is soft wool which keeps your hands relatively warm. The construction of the gloves are tough, but they need to be redesigned to improve the moisture issues. I wouldn't purchase these gloves again, but would buy other Youngstown work gloves (that don't have this waterproof membrane that captures moisture, and outside insulated layers that soak up water).
