US PRO 18pc Pin Punch Set With Automotive Centre Punch 2095

I am very pleased with these punches. Hard steel and well finished. You get two lengths of drift which got me out of trouble with a long roll pin that was difficult to start moving (short drift) then had to drift it 5 or 6 cms to fully remove it (the long drift). A wide range of sizes in a handy roll up pouch that is easy to store in a cluttered garage. Spend a little more and get really good quality.

Good selection of sizes, The small length punches are hardened steel, Longer ones seem to have a stainless steel rod..which seems a little bendy..that said I'd use the shorter then drive with the Longer if needed. Good value.

Reasonable handy set in a pinch but the punches are fairly soft. I bought these mainly for tapping out brake pins and for installing bearing races. The variety of sizes is brilliant so they useful for any application and can take a fairly good it. I’ve wailed on these and I’ve not managed to break and yet so they’re strong and great value for money. It’s probably worth buying these to abuse, and then when they break investing into a good set of starret punches but for the price I’m happy with these punches to throw into the back of my vehicle.

An essential piece pof kit for your workshop. I needed a really deep punch to remove the pins from my Tesla front calipers that had rusted on. These were the perfect length to push the pin out and strong enough to snap the pin ree of the rust. I only used one - but even for that one task, the kit was more than worth the money.

Two of the solid punches bent and then broke within a few hits of a hammer on a simple 4 pot brake caliper slide pin job, the third punch that’s on the right hand side of the roll was in half when it arrived. The centre punch worked well and there was a good choice of sizes that’s the only reason I’ve given it two stars. The roughneck punches for a similar price are ten times stronger. Not sure if I just got a dodgy set but wasn’t impressed at all with the quality unfortunately.
