I enjoyed the Percy Jackson movie so bought the book series and saw these advertised at the end. As I love Greek, Egyptian and Norse mythology I got this set as well, not disappointed, they're well written and researched, giving a modern twist to classical tales.

I understand when a book arrived a little bit dented, and even if there's a minuter tear around the edges, but this doesn't look like it happened during transport. It looks like it was send on its way already looking like that. Quite disappointing!

when i saw this product, i thought it was a steal. it is: 3 hardcover books which normally go for the price of $30-$40 each, for $30 all together?? amazing price. love this product, the only thing is, the dust cover on book 1 is a bit ripped and squished in some places, as is the hardcover itself. the cover was squished and, as it was packaged neatly and fine, i don't believe this happened in delivery. i like to keep my books in prime condition, and when i paid for this book and it comes like that? not the best experience. otherwise, great product.
