This sunscreen is now the only brand I will buy. I was looking for a cleaner sunscreen to use because I can be outside for 10 minutes and burn. My niece told me about this brand and to say I was impressed was an understatement. I was in the sun for about 6 hours straight at the water park. I only reapplied a couple of times. My shoulders burned a little and so did my feet (which was user error I didn't think to put it on there). There was no smell to it which I really liked as I'm sensitive to smells. The best thing about it though was how easy it was to put on. It was like putting on regular lotion. Usually cleaner brands are chunky and thick. My friend I traveled with was so impressed because she knows how bad I burn that she was going to get some for her son.

I have Malasma so I wear SPF religiously everyday even when I'm at home. I've try many many many mineral SPF but I keep coming back to this because it is a bit runnier in consistency which allows me to apply it to my face more evenly. I find it best to add a thin layer of this after my concealer /makeup. Yes, it does have a slight white cast to it as all mineral SPF does and this is because the key ingredient, zinc oxide, is a white mineral.

LOVE this sunscreen! I just wish it wasn't sold out so often! Excellent price point and goes on smooth and transparent. Its also an EWG recommended brand which I appreciate.

My daughter loves this it goes on so easily, does not hurt her eyes while wearing or while washing off. nice consistency and everything:) no white wash.

I used to use this product years ago and never had a problem. So, I decided to try again, and I put it on at 10 am by 6 pm my face was itching. When I looked in the mirror, I was red and swollen and hot to the touch. As a woman of color, I was really hoping this worked for me because it was the only mineral sunscreen that didn't leave a very noticeable skin cast, I could cover it up with makeup usually. Now I can't use this product at all, I'm distrustful of this brand, because something has definitely changed in the formula to cause such irritation. As a black woman I rarely get red, but I do have eczema, this product made my face red, and itchy and hot. I'm on day two of this pain but it does seem to be getting a little better.My home treatment after finding this catastrophe on my face was washing my face with Aveeno oatmeal sensitive skin facial cleanser then slathering my face in Eucerin thick rich cream and Vaseline. Never scratch, so I spent the night putting ice wrapped in paper towels on my face, the ice is the only thing that sooths the itchy hot feeling. This morning, I woke up and the red has lessened but my face is still itching. I hope that it gets better, and I don't have to go to urgent care. If irritation continues for more than 5 days my next action will be an urgent care visit to get prescribed prednisone, or a steroid shot but I hope it does not come to such an extreme measure to stop the irritation. If it wasn't for the other 1-star reviews, I would have doubted it was this product. I thank the other ladies who reported the same problem because I would have assumed it was another product. I hope my review helps someone that is dealing with the same reaction. Please don't buy this product it is no longer safe!

This is a really good sunscreen. The only reason I gave it 3 out of 5 stars is because it leaves a horrible white cast. I'm brown skin so when I apply it, it leaves my skin very white and it's so hard to take off. I will try to rub it in so it can blend in and it doesn't work... this is a mineral base sunscreen so these sunscreens typically have high levels of zinc to protect your skin but also leaves a white cast with it. With these sunscreens, make sure you reapply every 2 hours or if it dry off worth a towel. You definitely won't get burnt with this sunscreen.

Clean ingredients. Free of toxic chemicals. It’s a bit pricey for the amount that you get. However, it’s definitely worth it since it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. I use this on my son and it’s not super greasy.
