Update to this review: Chairs still going strong. In fact, I'm buying my 3rd pack of 4. I hope these chairs never leave Amazon, because whenever I need folding chairs, these are the ones I'm getting!Folding chairs are very convenient.. but I'm quite a large fella, at 350lbs. I tend to break folding chairs.. they always bend and start to dump me out of the chair after a while. These don't. They are serious when they say they are built to withstand large weights.Another issue I run into as a large person with folding chairs is comfort. Padding on most chairs is inadequate to offer my bottom anything resembling a comfortable seat. These chairs, however, are very comfortable, with plenty of padding!And, the price is reasonable to boot! I've had mine for 2 years, and have had zero problems with them. In fact, a friend likes them so much he's swiping 2 of mine for his place, so I'm buying another 4 pack!

After 15 1/2 years I finally decided to replace my old card table chairs.I just received them today and they are great!Sturdy and comfortable for what I need. Sturdy back rest and a comfy vinyl seat. Those that buy these chairs may feel different. They come in a box of 4. The weight range is 480lbs (static) drop weight is 300lbs. So it does hold anything under 480lbs easily. As opposed to my old chairs which were never designed for higher weight limits. It's better to have something that holds up long term as you may have guests who are heavier in weight. I have seen video tests for this particular product brand that shows how much they can take before they collapse.The price does make sense as you are paying for 4 public seating type chairs. Not something you find in a convenient store. If you're looking for something that holds anything up to 1000? Then you're going to pay close to $100 per chair as we're talking about industrial strength level usage. Such as for events and venues.Sitting on a raised seat versus my old sloping seat for the first time in years was such a difference. Now I can sit in comfort when I need to dress, exercise or casually sit when I need to work at my computer. Really pleased with my purchase. These seats were made with the users in mind for everyday use.

We needed to get chairs for our sons to perform outdoor concerts and for other venues. The padding and height made them perfect, even for our 10 and 8-year-old boys. Although they are very sturdy, they were able to carry their gig bag, instrument (using back straps), and this chair with no problem. This made setup a breeze.We opted for the vinyl instead of the fabric and wood options because we needed something easy to clean and resist mold in case they get wet. This stores easily in a closet and the car, works perfectly for mobile events, and looks professional for our needs.

One of my older folding metal chairs broke, so I determined that I should be proactive and replace them all before a disaster occurred. My choice was an excellent one -- these are much more sturdy than my old ones and comfortable too. A bit heavier, but that's a decent trade off for quality.

These folding, padded chairs have replaced my camp chairs. I was buying camp chairs every year because they just wore out and were not safe. These chairs are padded so they can sit out in the sun without burning your butt when you sit down like a metal seat would. They're so easy to take with you. I don't have to worry about heavy people sitting on them & shredding the material or bending the flimsy camp chair legs. Great deal!

A bit pricey.

We found the chairs to be cushy and sturdy. The main complaint is that the seat is not deep at all, especially compared to other folding chairs I've owned. As a result, the majority of the thigh/leg is not supported, which makes for very uncomfortable sitting for any length of time, such as when playing cards games, which was the main purpose for these chairs. It's not worth the trouble to return given how heavy the box was, but I would not purchase again.

These sturdy chairs have exceeded our expectations. We needed flexible seating for our community gathering space that was nice enough for dinners, comfortable enough for long meetings, resilient enough for messy art classes and sturdy enough to safely seat anyone who came through the door. These chairs are perfect. We brought two sets in the navy blue and loved them so much, we ordered two more. Thank you for an exceptional product. These were the same price as the discount store chairs, yet are far superior in every way.

I don't know if the price is expensive for some foldable chairs, but these are some REALLY solid foldable chairs. They don't feel cheap or flimsy at all. I like how at the foldable joints, they don't swing freely like some cheaper chairs out their, they have to resistance so you can pick up and move the chairs without them folding up by themselves. A++

Bought these to supplement my dining set. The price was great and a nice colour selection as well. Bonus is that they are really comfy and provide good back support.
