This paint worked great on my China cabinet. I did not do any sanding before starting, just cleaned it very good with a light scour pad. I used the anthracite gray and the cornstalk white. I bought one quart of each and used nearly all of both on this large cabinet.

I bought this paint to redo my kitchen cabinets. So far so good! This paint covers well. You don’t need to use a lot of it. I’ve posted my before and after photos. I bought this paint in the Dove Gray. I didn’t want a gray that was too dark or too light. This one is perfect.8/12 edit- added final picture of lowers. Will post uppers once they are done. Love the result of my lowers!8/20- adding completed kitchen pictures. Completely live the end result. My kitchen before was dark. Now it’s light and more updated looking.

I love this chalk pain!!! I have used a few other brands, some more expensive and lower cost ones. My wing chair was in great shape but the colors were dated. I love the end result! I had applied a coat of Stone color but it was lighter than what I was looking for. I ordered the Dove Gray and applied it over. I’m very happy with the results.

I received my order of Aubergine chalk based furniture paint today and I am thrilled with the product! The color is outstanding! I thought it was a dark purple but it is more of a deep plum color (more pink than purple) and I love it! Painted a sample board and I am impressed with the smoothness of application and the coverage. I am a furniture painter and I have used just about every brand of chalk paint in the industry and this product stands up with the best of the best. Item was packaged securely and shipping was super fast too! Will definitely be ordering more colors soon!!

I like the shade of the chalk paint and it was very easy to apply. I did only use two coats and seem to cover the two pieces of furniture that I did. Our biggest problem is that delivery. The box was fine but the can was dented which made it difficult to open and hard to close tightly. I don’t think the paint will stay usable for long due to not having a tight seal. They were out of stock on the pain so they gave me a $10 credit on my next purchase.

The color is perfect but the quality is so poor. This paint barely covers and I’ve used SIX coats to cover a piece that should only need two, maybe three. Also, when I would paint on a layer then go to smooth it out, it lifted the previous layer as if it was just melting away. I never leave product reviews but felt like this paint was so below the quality for the $37 I paid that I needed to let other potential buyers know.

I painted this dark crummy looking table this great green. For some reason, the picture looks more blue than it really is. It's actually a more dark green. It took me 3 light coats to completely cover a very dark table. I still have more than 3/4 of the can left. The difference in this chalk paint vs. others is it's consistency. It is so creamy. I loved using it! Because it was maybe a little less thick than other chalk paint, it didn't leave as many brush strokes, which is what I was going for in this project - a smoother look.You will love using this paint!

I did not believe that this would work with no prep, but it did! I used 3 coats and refinished a chest of drawers, a nightstand and a wardrobe. This color is stunning!! It looked really purple when ibstarted, and I did not like it; however, it dries with a much darker velvety look. I am so pleased. It is a beautiful deep plum or dark cherry. My only problem is finding the perfect wax to finish it.

I've been painting for many years now and truthfully I've never been so disappointed with a paint than this!!! Instead of the usual sanding down I decided I would just use this as it states you can paint straight over!! This is a lie and you will be wasting your time! I made sure there was no grease on the furniture then painted! Loved the dull black but did take 2 coats! When dry the paint easy comes off with a little bump or scratch! You definitely need a clear wax or varnish to go over as the paint will not stay on! I would never buy this again and would rather go back to my normal sanding and painting! I can't believe that they are getting away with selling this as the description is totally not what it does.. do yourself a favour and avoid to save disappointment!

I brought this chalk paint to revamp my kitchen cupboards I must say it’s brilliant my cupboards were a dark brown and this paint covers really well and looks amazing it arrived before expected delivery date i highly recommend this paint and seller to everyone looking to update any wood items one very happy customer

As an avid user of farrow and ball for my house and kitchen cupboards I decided I wanted a more matt chalk paint for my cupboards, having read reviews on hemway I decided to try. I will firstly say don't expect the color to be exact, I ordered stone grey as I wanted something with a taupe stone base and it was nothing like it as it definitely has a blue tone to it which was absolutely no good for its purpose. Having said that I found a piece of furniture to use it and it's quality is the best I've tried with no brush marks! I have now purchased the corn white and am hoping it's going to be suitable however I am going to mix the 2 to hopefully get a perfect shade.Picture of nearly finished TV unit, just 2 light coats and nearly done. I will also add the drying time is very quick!

I purchased this paint because a friend recommended trying a chalk paint in my bathroom. The bathroom is constantly damp and horrible and, no matter what I tried, nothing covered the walls properly,even with a heater on constantly.This paint has covered the walls beautifully. I'm impressed, as I was able to put two coats on in a very short time.The colour is more a rich bluey grey, that I really like.

A very good paint which I found only required two coats when applied to furniture which was very old and a dark brown in colour. The colour I applied was grey so a complete contrast. The coverage is good and the size of the tin makes it a good purchase in the first place. This is the third brand I have used and is the one I will use in future.
