Mega Construx Masters of The Universe Panthor at Point Dread

I grew up with the original Masters of the Universe, my mom somehow managed (it was the '80s, and finding certain figures or sets was CRAZY) to get me the majority of the line. With that in mind I have a huge amount of love for the IP. Zodac is fine. Zoar is ok, kinda wish it was the spread wing version. The extra weapons rack with weapons is pretty cool. Temple of Darkness Sorceress is pretty awesome. This Panthor is not flocked, but still awesome. Never understood the Skeletor battle axe thing, he had a havoc staff or his half of the Power Sword, didn't need a third weapon btw only comes with battle axe here. This mini representation of the Talon Fighter and Point Dread are beyond awesome. This Talon Fighter comes with launchers that actually fire (warning to those gifting for children, it's alarmingly fast lol). The '80s set came with an audio adventure on 45 vinyl, I mention this because Mega Construx added an easter egg to the computer console inside Point Dread. They included an homage to the record (no audio, just a mini of the disc), this alone I'd give 10/10 Overall so much fun and joy here to be had. I loved Point Dread and the Talon Fighter as an '80s kid, think I love this version more as an adult

This is a really good kit. I’m surprised how much better the Mega’s quality has improved over the years. They are top-notch bricks now and the figures even have lots of articulation for the size - solid! Great price too! The build was straight forward. There were a couple pieces that were either miss labeled or packed wrong, luckily there was a suitable replacement of the right color. The model is smaller than I expected after assembly LOL. It also came with A LOT of extra pieces. I would say around 30 extra, mostly very small, odd, easily lost pieces.

You get a lot for what you pay for the set.

Definitely a great add one to Megaconstrux MOTU line. It hits all the nostalgia points . Gives two new figures zodiac and panthor . Plus a great repaint of the sorcerer all in white with a new battle armor skeletor. Also you can connect this set to castle Grayskull. Solid and fun built.

Super fun and excellent construction

Got this today and put it together immediately. LOVE IT! These sets are so easy to assemble with individual bags, great directions, and fun shapes. I was stoked to find out it included some extra blocks and instructions on how to attach it to my Castle Grayskull. Now I have more fun pieces for my shelf.

Don't have room (or the budget) for the New MOTU He-Man Origin line, but miss you old He-Man toys. Get these! Tons of detail for the size and with the right setup you can have a massive battle on a small shelf.

Great addition to the Mega Bloks Castle Grayskull. Fun build. Great little additional Mini-Figs too. Does fit neatly in the Castle build. But I wouldn't move it around too much. Best for a static display of the Grayskull set only. I would say. No pieces missing, do get quite a bit of extra spare bits. As per usual with Mega Bloks.
