Since I have several cold steel knives. The knife is nice. The width is a little narrow for my hands but still a decent fit. The blade is sharp out of the box and the lock up is solid. One issue for me is the sheath. While the sheath itself is decent it is too big for the knife and the knife wobbles around while I walk. One solution for me is I had a fero rod that fits inside the sheath with the knife and no rattle. The back of the blade is 90 degrees and does work with the ferro rod.
