I got these for my parents when my mother's health was in decline. She had ALS, and there cam a time when she could not raise her voice to ask for help. If she needed assistance and my dad was in the kitchen making lunch, he would not hear her. These worked great for that.Be advised you do need to pair the trigger buttons with the receivers! It was pretty easy and took me maybe 15 minutes all told. I don't think my elderly father would have figured it out so quickly, though. Once I had them ready, I gave them to my dad.He would plug one in next to his bed so that my mom could ring him from her recliner (she needed to sleep upright) if she needed help in the night. If he needed to be in a different room for any period of time (cooking, laundry), he would be sure to have one plugged in near him and my mom would simply press the button when needed.The volume on these can be pretty loud, but in my opinion, that's kind of the point. My dad said they worked like a charm when he was caring for my dying mom. That alone was worth the price.

I use this with my grandmother and it helps so much! Easy to use. No instal required except plugging into outlet.

I have not messed around changing the sound. It allows you to change the sound if you want. My wife and I bought it to allow her 85 year old mom to push the button if she needs anything. She is currently in a hospital bed, due to a broken hip and a couple small strokes. We can hear it good and the three receivers work good in our 1920 sq/ft home. I have not checked how far it will reach. We are completely happy with the purchase and that it works great in our home. The price was reasonable, in my opinion. Definitely a buy for caregivers!

So I purchased this item specifically for it being used in the shower for an elderly person and I periodically check it to make sure it is working. And today it didn't work. I took it apart to change the battery and noticed all of the water damage. Im really frustrated. Im not sure if I want to return them and go with another brand or try the same brand again. Please be cautious

This product works great. Button can be looped onto bed rail with the included lanyard so it doesn’t “hit the floor”. Alert units placed in 3 rooms furthest from bed and they can be heard throughout a four bedroom ranch. We have found this product to be very useful and we highly recommend it.
