Satisfactory replacement for my Teflon cookware
I purchased a full set of GreenPan Valencia Pro cookware a year ago, some individual items and a large set. The large set arrived in a box packed intricately, and I found only a couple insignificant chips to the coating from transit. After using the cookware for a year, I would say Iโm mostly satisfied. Its nonstick characteristics are holding up well, and it doesnโt seem to suffer from regular dishwasher cleanings using Cascade Platinum. Often the pan can be sprayed with water, wiped dry and stored without any detergent. The bottoms are slightly prone to minor rust if they stay wet, but that hasnโt been a problem for me. The nonstick is very good, and Iโm hoping the chemically inert properties are accurately represented as ditching Teflon-coated cookware was the paramount reason for buying these. The exterior coating is also very durable. The thickness of the pans is just enough to be satisfactory. Their light weight and durability allow me to use them when car camping. I find the slightly concave bottoms are not ideal for a solid surface cooktop since there is reduced heat transfer, but it isnโt a showstopper. On an induction stove, it seems as though the ferrous portion doesnโt quite fully span the bottom on some pans so they donโt heat as fully or evenly as they might otherwise. The most satisfactory heat source for these pans is a gas flame. The rough texture on the bottoms is helpful preventing the pans slipping around on tabletop canister stoves, which I appreciate. Another issue is with the lids. They let steam/condensation escape through the seam between the glass and the stainless-steel surround rim which causes water to pool on the lid and eventually dribble onto whatever cooktop you are using even when just simmering. You learn to lift the lid above the pan so it can drip all this water into the pan. And the handles get very hot fairly quickly, so you have to use a hot pad. Overall, Iโm happy with this GreenPan Valencia Pro cookware and for the money, Iโd buy it again and recommend it.

Did not perform as claimed. Not non-stick. The coating flakes/chips (not using metal or scraping).
Summary: Did not perform as claimed. Not in the two years I've owned them from start to just around 20 months. They stick in almost all conditions. They have chipped despite careful use and perfect attention to use and care instructions. They are also in our vacation cabin and get used 20% of normal. Details below if you are interested from a warranty claim submission process. Their customer support completely dismissed me. Initial dismissal: They paste a response that it was wear/tear within three minutes of my initial email? Didn't even have time to review what I wrote in that period and still compose their response. The warranty process asks for details and pictures. I sent a link to all images. They were never downloaded (Drobpox notifies on viewing or download). It is simply a case of pasting scripted responses and denying the issues clearly communicated and documented with timestamped photos within and throughout the warranty period. Excerpt from warranty claim that described the use and issues below. They have not held up. I do not recommend (even at a relatively low price point). They don't perform as advertised even in a part-time kitchen. Most importantly, customer support is abysmal and disaffected. ------ I have followed the care instructions exactly (also attached), including: Never been in the dishwasher (even though it claims they are dishwasher safe) They have always been hand washed with a gentle brush or sponge and Dawn dish soap. We have never used a harsh cleaner or abrasive. I use silicone or plastic cooking utensils almost exclusively. The only exception is a wooden spoon or spatula. Even our tongs have silicone tips. We have not used metal utensils even though it says this is safe to do (within limitations). We use light oils such as grapeseed, olive oil, or butter. Iโve never used a cooking spray in these or any other pans. We use an induction cooktop at recommended settings. Iโm an experienced cook. They have never been in an oven. They have never been left to sit or soak (always cleaned immediately after allowing them a normal cooldown at room temperature (and always off the cooktop). They have never been left on a cooktop hob empty/hot. The pans are always stored with protective felt liners between them. And considering the note below about these being in our vacation cabin, they are rarely disturbed. They are in their own dedicated drawer below the cooktop and are not mixed or piled with other cookware (pictures included). Lids are also stored separately in their own drawer. The pans are not performing as claimed and advertised. Problems include: Almost all regular foods we cook stick, including eggs, sautรฉed vegetables, or meats. Eggs are the most common food we cook in the pans (at least daily) and I cook sunnyside up on very low to medium heat with light oil or butter (or ghee). And yet the eggs always stick and require scraping with plastic spatula to remove from the pan. They donโt slide at all. Iโve tried medium heat and related with no change. Flipping an egg per a standard practice (throw/flip) is impossible, yet Iโm skilled at this flip. Anything with any sugar content (sweet bell peppers) burns onto the pan. I use medium-high typical heat for this (never full). I have to use a soft plastic scraper and work to get the residue off. The most frequently used pans have developed a tinted/brown staining/film that will not come off the bottom of the pan. Several of the pans have flaking ceramic coating in spots or small lines. I canโt explain these as we donโt use metal utensils or silverware in the pans. **Infrequent Use** The pans are not performing and not holding up (flaking). But even more confusing is that fact that these pans are at our vacation cabin. We only use it 1-2 weekends a month or a week here and there when we can get away (but even when there, we donโt cook daily with these pans due to restaurants, takeout, use of other cookware). I would say they have seen 20% of the use of a normal pan over the comparable time period since it is not a full-time home. The 20% is a conservative/high estimate. By comparison to cheaper coated pans I have at our full-time home, The GreenPans have been used so gently and infrequently compared to our full-time home cookware. That full-time cookware at home basic non-stick (non ceramic) pans that are our daily use. They get the same care and approach with technique and tools but are used constantly and even by less-experienced cooks (like the teenagers). Those pans have held up for about 7 years and have zero issues. I wanted to go to ceramic by GreenPan for safety and eco, but they just are not performing as claimed.

Meeting Expectations
So far so good! Weโve had our new set of cookware for about a month now, and itโs performing very well. The non-stick surface is easy and quick to cook on, there has been no staining, and cleanup is a breeze! Plus all the pieces stack well in our drawers. Very glad that we opted for this brand instead of other higher-priced brands.

great value.
It is a great quality but I returned it because the pot was too small for me.

Great Purchase
Although theyโre pricey, these pans are WELL worth the money. Cook times are reduced, and cleanup is a breeze. As someone else had mentioned in the reviews, clean with a melamine sponge every so often to keep the non-stick feature. Otherwise, I absolutely do not regret the purchase, and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing new pans!

Not worth the price
I only started using these pans once I moved so about 8 months ago and our most used one is already losing its coating. Generally they work great but having to stop you is one of the most important pieces after only 8 months is ridiculous

If I find some sort of help with this issue, I will update review
Iโve had this set for a little over three years. I love the non stick surfaces and how easy they are to clean. I take dart good care of them, wash by hand and only use silicone utensils when cooking. However, I have started noticing that the top edges are pealing. Is it due to contact with lids? I donโt know. I do not find anything regarding warranty.

Fantastic cooking performance and good non-stick coating - but buy a melamine sponge
UPDATE - July 2024 I have removed a star from my original review. The main reason - the coating is flaking off of some rivets and edges of some of my pans. I had one replaced under warranty after only about a year of use, and while GreenPan did replace it fairly quickly, they did not replace it with the same pan - they replaced it with a larger version of the pan, which is not as usable to me. They also said that I could not make another warranty claim on that same pan (but what if it develops the same issue?) That was disappointing. I only use wooden or plastic utensils with the pan and don't heat above medium-high heats. My pans otherwise are still mostly non-stick and they still heat evenly. But the coating on my pans has not been as durable as I had hoped. ----------------- I was hesitant to buy these at first given reviews here and from other pro cooking sites talking about how ceramic pans tend to start out non-stick but lose it over time. At first, I found the same was true - for the first few months, they were super non-stick - eggs practically flew around the pan. But slowly, things started sticking more - especially eggs. But then I did something amazing - I read the FAQ on the Web site. :-) And it has a simple tip - if things start sticking, use a simple melamine sponge, wipe it several times with hot water. IT WORKS. Using a simple, cheap melamine sponge about once every week or two, depending on what we've used the pan for that week, keeps it very non-stick. Otherwise, we just wash it with soap and water normally. GreenPan - include a melamine sponge with every pan AND put a note about this in the box! This is an amazing tip and will avoid the negative reviews some leave. Pros * Great cooking performance - good browning, good balance of heat sensitivity and performance * Easy clean up * Very non stick (don't forget the melamine sponge) - I found that I needed to use the melamine sponge more (e.g. once a week) when cooking at higher heats or with stickier foods and less (every 1-3 weeks) when just using it frequently for things like eggs * Look great * Grill pan is great - has now replaced our beloved Griddler for most things * Nice, sturdy, well-fitting lids * Good price for what you get - good looking, ceramic non-stick pans with good browning * Have been using the fry pan for 6 months and it's still non-stick and going strong * Great handles - comfy and oven-safe * Oven safe Cons * They don't recommend very high heat. Not too much of a con given how well this sautes and browns at medium-high heat * Somewhat sensitive to heat changes - this is a good or bad thing depending on what you're cooking. Sometimes I prefer a pan with a thicker bottom and slower reaction, other times something with faster reaction like these is great. * Doesn't include a melamine sponge or directions in the box to use it periodically - in just my experience, this is necessary to keep the pans and the cook happy.

Healthy and worth the money
My wife was insisting on buying this set because of its 'healthy' materials. As a man, I didn't really consider it necessary but now I'm the one who uses them all the time. Easy to clean, fast to heat, and heats evenly! Pretty satisfied with it, highly suggested.

Fantastic!
Have been using them for a bit less than a month and I am super happy! Nothing sticks, so easy to clean. I never put super high heat on them, they heat up very easily on mid to high heat.
