I was searching for the right size protector for my recipe collection. Finally found this one —a perfect half page size—but not too tight—and fits a mini 3-ring binder. I received my order today, complied 12 recipes to send with my adult son who is moving to another state—with many more recipes to go. Just placed an order for another 100 more protectors —the perfect size for gifting treasured family recipes. I type the recipe on the top half of the sheet, and grocery list on the bottom. So when you turn the half page over, you have your list ready. Thanks to the reviewers who recommended this for recipes!

These were awesome and very economical! I looked for them here in town (Houston, TX) and the only place that carried them was Office Max - and they had 1 package (yep - 1 package, I even asked them to check in the back for me!) of 15 for $3.97 - or some other ridiculous amount of money! That wouldn't even begin to make a dent in the project I had in mind! These are heavy-weight page protectors and will hold a 1/2 sheet of 8.5 x 11" paper - although I would "shave" a bit off the border if you're using cardstock! It will go in a little easier that way! These definitely met my expectations, were delivered quickly (thank you Prime!) and I was able to get my project finished and sent off to my Aunt in Oregon!

When I order this product I wasn't totally sure it was what I was looking for. The sheet protectors fit in the binder I will be using them. They are not flimsy but not too thick either. They will work perfectly. My order also arrived in a timely matter. I would definitely order them again.

I'd been looking for these under a different, more arcane, description and was happy when I figured out what C-Line called them. C-Line has been the leader in sheet protectors of all types for decades.

Use these for my Minicomic/Ashcan (comics that can be printed on a standard copier & are meant to be disposable/cheap) collection. They don't fit the weird ones that are printed on 8.5"x14" (then folded in half), but they fit the vast majority of minicomics I have that are printed on 8.5"x11" (making them 8.5"x5.5"). As long as it was able to fold flat after being saddle-stitch-style stapled, the extra width of the protector allowed even the thickest of my books to fit. And the heavier duty material keeps its shape well, so my smaller comics aren't prone to falling out either. Recent Free comic book day comics have also been printed at this size, so if you have a collection of them that you'd like to both keep protected and easily draw out repeatedly to let others read them, I'd recommend these.

I created my own cookbook of my family's favorite recipes and bought these page protectors to keep the pages clean from stains. The sheet protectors work great. They are a generous size (8.5x5.5) so that a lengthy recipe can be viewed on one page or I can embellish page with a picture. Plastic is sturdy and will hold up nicely. My only complaint is the white strip down the left side. I would prefer it to be clear like the rest of the page, but it does not deter from the insert.

I am using these Clear Poly Sheet Protectors in my Hallmark Recipe books. If I have a recipe that I print or cut out of a magazine, I just put it in a sheet protector. The recipe is visible, and it’s a quick and easy way to store recipes. The sheet protectors have plenty of room to store a folded, in half, 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.

Unlike the sheets I got from another company these actually fit 5.5x8.5 pages - which means non-playbill programs that aren't slightly smaller than that will still fit nicely. Took a while to arrive as they came from the states - but if I need more, these are absolutely what I'm getting!
