Does the job!
I purchased this to be used in my camper and it has done great. It collapses down and it is able to store under my oven it’s nice and small but is able to hold quite a bit

Just right
Its actually perfect. I didn't want anything special, just a collapsible strainer. This one is it. Sturdy, good quality, not flimsy. Size is just right for draining a batch of pasta or rinsing/cleaning produce fresh from the garden. Also easily stores for camping. Cleans up well Flattens out and stores nicely. Good buy

Exactly what I needed
I needed to replace an old rubbermaid collapsible strainer that a knife punctured (the full basket was silicone). After ordering and returning various options for all sorts of reasons (no feet to stand up in sink, or the size was unrealistic, or the holes were too big for pasta)... THIS was the one that stayed in my kitchen. Love that the very bottom of the basket is plastic so it's sturdy and stands well above the kitchen sink to drain. Also means I won't puncture the bottom again haha. It is a great size for even a large amount of pasta or washing larger vegetables like peppers and apples. The holes haven't been an issue-- they strain quickly without my pasta going through them and losing food.

Favorite design
We had one of these for years and it finally started coming apart at one of the creases. We used it all the time, so we bought another one. It fits over the edges of the smaller half of our split sink, folds up, and stores well. Goes in the dishwasher without taking up the whole thing. Because of the positioning of the holes, sometimes I have to tilt it back and forth to get all the water out, but I tend to do that with colanders anyway so it's not a negative. If you have the space in your cabinets, maybe keep it open to reduce the chances of it breaking at the seams years down the road.
