Great, handy tool.
It has good power and battery longevity for most handy work. It will hammer-drill through tile, or bore through studs. This is a great everyday tool for light to moderate duty. Very light weight and handy.

Long lasting and worth the money
I've been using DeWalt battery tools for 35 years on construction jobs. This is my fith hammer drill in 35 years. The first was a 9 volt and I upgraded to an 18 volt several years later. Then I upgraded to a 20 volt after using the 18 volt for over 10 years. The 20 volt burned up after a couple of years but I bought another because I had all the chargers and batteries and the box. That one was stolen after several years of flawless use. I've had this one for a couple of years now and it's still working like new in 2025 with my batteries from 2012. I work as an electrician on commercial construction jobs everyday. My boss just returned 9 Milwaukee drills that that have burned up in the last three months. I'll stick with DeWalt, thank you.
