Goot is Good
This is authentic goot soldering iron from Japan and shipped from Japan. In the product description it didn't mention about the voltage. It is Japan domestic product. On the product sticker it says 100V, 40W and no problem using in the US with US plug.

This worked better than any other soldering iron i've used......Totally worth it !!!

6 months of light use before burning out
After 6 months of light use, the element burned out. I suspect it may be the voltage difference, but that’s just a hunch.
