How tight is the seal? I use a low-carb batter that's very thin and wonder if it would stay inside this unit until cooked.

My batter was krustz brand & was reg.thin ,if batter is too thick it does not flow to bottom of unit & gets stuck in top of unit .

Can you make other things besides waffles? Like sandwiches & hot dogs.

On the home shopping channel, they demonstrate this by baking not only waffles, but cake mix, corn bread mix, grilled cheese sandwiches, and canned biscuits. I don't think hot dogs would work though.

Can someone please tell me how many ounces the enclose scoop is exactly. I lost mine :-(
