I have an 18-bulb chandelier with analog dimmer that previously had incandescent bulbs and was running hot. I searched through dozens of Amazon bulbs and these bulbs seemed to have the fewest complaints of defective bulbs. Although they cost more, I am confident I made the right choice. I have been using them for several weeks now and not a single bulb has died, and all of them arrived intact. The color temperature is very similar to the incandescent bulbs I replaced. I think these are even brighter, but about 1/10th power with virtually no heat. Several reviewers claimed that they had problems with their dimmer switches, but these worked fine with the standard analog dimmer (unfortunately, I do not know the brand), no flickering. The light from them is even and bright. The bulbs are glass - several other (larger) LED bulbs I use are plastic and won't break if dropped - but these feel fragile. As stated above despite feeling fragile (not cheap), all of the bulbs (18 - 3x6) shipped on working order. Normally, I don't waste time writing an Amazon review, but since these bulbs were as good if not better than the description, I felt I should share my experience.

These are the perfect bulbs for my big, 82" tall arc floor lamp in my living room. The lamp came with a bulb but even in the warm light setting (3000K) it was too cool and harsh and fluorescent-like. This is the perfect brightness and the perfect warm cozy tone for my living room. I have lots of books and spend most of my working hours in the living room either in my laptop or reading. This is just a lovely way to light my room and make the environment seem peaceful, while being much less expensive than regular lightbulbs and not ugly like so many LED bulbs these days.

Solved the buzzing issue that we had with the bulbs that were included with the new light fixture! Very happy.

Overall, I love these bulbs! They are retro and perfectly match my modern farmhouse bedroom decor. I am using these in a sputnick ceiling light. The effect is really pretty, especially as the bulbs are tiny, but even at 40W (daylight) they are really bright. I can't look directly at the light, which defeats the purpose. I will update with photos when I get my dimmer installed (READ: You will need a dimmer if your light fixture has more than 1 bulb). Also, as some reviewers noted, the bulb info was printed on the top of the bulb for all to see. Not a big deal if you have a vaulted or high ceiling, but will likely be noticeable with fixtures with the bulbs exposed if a dimmer is used. These bulbs are still a great deal and I would likely buy them again as needed.

First, these blubs are LED but do not have so much of the blub covered by the way it is made with a white inside cover. These are clear from the base. In addition they are dimmable which means they can be used in places you have a dimmer switch. These use little electricity and will last many years. This is great if you have hard to reach fixtures.

I had to try a few different kinds before I got to these. They're the perfect white that mimics traditional incandescent - not too blue, not too red. Just. Right. The "filaments" have a cool look to them that isn't overtly fake or tacky looking like some others. They dim very well, a much wider range down low from off to barely on at all compared to the last ones I had which went from off to ~30% and could brighten from there. Nice for leaving on at night just enough to see where you're going. Occasionally they flicker, but it's a rare occurrence and easily remedied by turning them up briefly and then back down. Not sure, but for me it's an easy thing to look past when everything else is spot on, including the price.

These bulbs are awesome. They perform like the incandescent bulbs, but with less energy use. They don’t look like the typical LED bulbs, but the bulb runs cool to the touch. The only caution is that the screw in tip is a little longer than the incandescent bulbs and it was a very tight fit when installed on my chandelier.

I replaced our bathroom lights with these and they're a bit brighter than the 60W incandescent bulbs they replaced. They give off a really nice, non-flicker, light on a low dimmer setting, but photos don't show it.

So far so good, they worked perfect in our dining room fixture, nice yellowish 2700k so almost identical to the incandescent we had. They all dim evenly and linear, we used all 6 in our fixture
