This camera takes very good photos, and the shutter speed is good so we don't miss the special moments. I love how compact it is, and the auto-settings are straightforward. My only complaint is that once you take a picture, the screen goes blank and there's a delay before it shows you the photo. I'm accustomed to digital cameras instantly showing me my pic on the screen, so the delay is off-putting, but doesn't interfere with the quality of pics. If you're trying to take several pictures in quick succession, it might interfere a bit, though.

Small, nearly flat, fits in a pocket well! Better, sharper pics than my phone provided.

Purchased as a holiday gift. Recipient did not like camera, said quality of images was bad. I took the camera to Disney World and shot many hundreds of photos to test. Recipient was right. Awful, awful, shameful quality! As a loyal Sony-everything customer for decades I was shocked and disappointed that they would put such a camera on the market. Tried to return it but too late, company refused to accept it. (Won't do business with them again.) Now I no longer trust Sony. Our lifelong relationship is on the rocks. Sad... (I am writing this review 6 years late, the camera is by now obsolete - but Sony if you're out there, I just wanted you to know)

This camera takes photos that are adequate for the price of the camera. It is not as stable as it claims as many photos come out with motion blur. It has trouble seeing in low light.

It's too small, I was expecting a regular sized one I alway brought This must be my 6th Sony camera And I never seen one so small.

This camera is terrible and I didn't have a chance to use it till after the return period ended (missed it by a week). Very slow to take pictures and often blurry. Really disappointed in Sony on this one.
