Best hernia belt I’ve ever had! Comfortable and easy to take off and put on!

This belt is comfortable and the pad that comes with it is the perfect size and shape to help keep a hernia repair right in place for pain-free moving.

This gives me the support I need. It doesn't stay in place well. I frequently have to reposition it.

It works for the mean time for daily use. The company claims to be anti roll. It does roll over time. Especially if you're a big person like I am. Put more supports around the back so the rolling doesn't happen.

While I was in the hospital for the night after hiatal hernia surgery, one of the nurses suggested I get a belly wrap, because jiggling fat would hurt. I ordered it as soon as I got home, just the ride home from the hospital proved she was right that it would hurt. I had it delivered the next day, and it was immediately helpful. I wore it over a t-shirt so as to not brush against the surgical incisions. I wore it constantly for the first week, and then now and then over the next week. One drawback (and to be honest, I don't see how this could have been avoided) was that it would crease after a bit, and that would hurt. I found if I folded it, and put it under the couch cushion I was sitting on for half an hour or so, it flattened back out. So there was an easy remedy, but I just thought I should mention it. I personally would not have gotten a second one, but if, for example, you had had a hysterectomy, I might think about getting two so you can alternate.

This belt was permanently wrinkled within a few days. The upper and lower edges are extremely sharp, and actually cut my skin, even though I had a knit shirt under it every time I wore it. If any bit of the rough Velcro is exposed. It will damage anything you wear over it. I actually had a tank top over it, and it is now ruined. Having to wear two layers and then your main clothing is not comfortable. I do not recommend this one! Keep shopping.

The five stars says it all. For a couple of years, I had been looking for stomach support of my parastomal hernia. I had tried ALL the ones recommended by stoma nurses and others, all to no real comfort. I saw the Armstrong America Umbilical Hernia Belt on Amazon and considered it. I read through most of the reviews and thought it looked like it could do the job needed... give support and be comfortable to wear. So, I ordered one. It arrived next day (Prime account customer) and I gave it a thorough 'look-over' before attempting to try it on. After the initial 'discomfort' of having something tight around my midriff again, I soon noticed how easy it felt to have it on. After a slight adjustment (velcro resting/rubbing on bare skin) the support and comfort was almost immediate. I decided to wear it for an hour... that 'hour' turned into thirteen (13) hours of absolute comfort and 'discomfort-free' wearing. I almost forgot it was there. The next day, I ordered another in the second colour. yesterday, 27 August 2025 I ordered a third. This allows me to have one on, one drying after washing and the third ready to be worn. Value for money? Yes, without a doubt. Effective? Yes. Durable? Yes again. Fitting? Takes getting used to having the support required with only one item but... yep, it fits like a glove and is very comfortable. (make sure you don't allow those pesky velcro bits rub against your skin) A high recommendation would not give this belt justice. It IS simply the best thing I have ever bought since the surgery that gave me the stoma and hernia. Try it, you will love it.

This product was suggested by my Physiotherapist after delivery. This was really comfortable belt compared to the other ones I tried from Amazon. It does give the support it claims and we don't feel the discomfort of wearing a belt, so can be worn throughout a day if required.

This product is the best. Comes with a padded donut (removable) to put directly over the herniated area! Makes all the difference between the other 5 I bought elsewhere. Material is a bit scratchy on the skin. Will definitely buy again!
