Greater Goods Dual-Head Stethoscope for Nurses, Medical Students & EMTs

I’m in Nursing School and I bought this for my clinical and it unfortunately got stolen and when at the hospital. When you purchased it you get a lifetime warranty without any additional cost so once I initially got it, I registered for that warranty and as soon as it got stolen, I reached out to their customer service by emailing them and asking for advice, immediately got a response and they sent me a new one and it looked exactly the same was the same exact quality and they were so kind. No questions asked whether that was because of the warranty or not they were super understanding and kind and for that alone, I’ll continue buying from their company cause I love when customer service is about the customer experience! Got this for my EMS class and I already love it! Unfortunately haven't gotten to use it just yet but I can't wait until I can :) The weight is perfect, not to heavy and not insanely light. Sound quality is amazing! I listened to my own heartbeat and lung sounds over and over. Very comfortable as well! I was worried the ear pieces would get uncomfortable, but they didn't!

As a former EMT, I can say that this stethoscope sounds good on both sides...better than others I've seen packed on amulances. There's a very nice positive "click" stop when turning the head to either position. It comes with a spare diaphragm for when your first wears out, and there's a card about a replacement program (I haven't pursued this as I don't use a stethoscope regularly anymore). The one thing I'm not able to do (maybe there's a break-in that I'm missing) is adjust the earpieces to different angles. The angle is good for my ears but may not suit everyone, and I prefer that the diaphragm point in towards me when the arms are around my neck...and this one is the opposite. The positioning is a small gripe, but I do feel like some folks might have an issue with the difficulty in adjusting this (hence the 4-star). It's still a great scope for the price though; I'd recommend giving it a try.

Bought for nursing school. Super light weight, addorable and comes with extra pieces. The sound travels well through it!

I am not in the medical profession nor am I a medical student. I bought this to detect pneumonia as my wife is quite susceptible and if she gets it again I want to be able to detect it early. The only thing I have to compare is listening to audios on the Internet of recordings of heart and lungs through a stethoscope. Sounded identical to me. I'm not sure what advantages stethoscopes have that cost five times as much offer but this one seems to do a pretty good job. The tension on the ear buds is comfortable and they provide a perfect seal such that I couldn't understand my wife when she was talking to me while I was listening to her. Bear in mind that I am not a medical professional and this is the only stethoscope I've ever listened through but it seems sensitive enough to me. If you inadvertently tap on the diaphragm, it sounds like a cannon so it's certainly sensitive enough. Should work for a wide range of applications.

Just ok, hard to hear heart.

It lost it's pristine white color in 3 months...while it was sitting in the bag. Haven't even used it. I tried to claim warranty but the company says we don't replace items bought on amazon.
