I actually really like this. It's heavy enough to make me feel like I've got a blanket on so it satisfies that compression desire, but it's not so warm that I'm sweating underneath it at night because of the weave. People have complained in the comments about it not being soft but I don't think that's true. I put it through the washer and dryer once so far and it's perfectly comfortable. It's kind of got more of a texture like a sweater or like a comfy pullover, not quite canvas but something in a softer version of that. It's not a traditional fuzzy blanket for sure, but I actually like it a lot. The color is great. It washed up nicely with no issues, and it looks really nice on the bed. I will say I don't think the photo I took shows the color well but the green is really nice, it's a nice, dark green so it's compliments my color scheme nicely.

Happy with the blanket: color, weight, dimensions. The weight is not too light and not too heavy. There is a little design on the blanket which adds some texture. I ordered a queen (thought I ordered a full but I didn't). It is cotton so softness doesn't really happen but it isn't rough either. I use it with a quilt. I'd order another.

This blanket is exactly what I was looking for and I think if you really understand what a pure cotton blanket is before purchasing, you will have no issue. With respect to some of the negative reviews, I agree the description is misleading when it describes the blanket as "soft." A pure cotton blanket is not going to be soft - at least not in the traditional sense. The blanket has some stiffness to it, and it has some weight to it though I would not say it is heavy by any means. It is thin, as I'd expect it to be - and in combination with the weight, this provides warmth in cooler months and stays breathable in warmer months (this is why I like, and the reason I buy, cotton blankets). In response to reviews that said the blanket is more like a tablecloth... it is not that thin, truly - but don't expect to receive a soft, fluffy blanket because that is not what this is. It is, as some reviewers have stated, very much like a hospital blanket. Details and Measurements, for reference: I ordered the blanket in white and it is pure white. I make this point because another reviewer ordered white and described what was received as ecru. I assume that must have been a mix up with the shipment because what I received is definitely a true white. The blanket did not pill after washing, and I did not find significant lint in the dryer lint trap. I'm using this blanket in a guest room and if the description is correct and the blanket is supposed to measure 90X90, it's either off, or it shrunk when I washed it. Note - I did NOT follow the instructions (must be washed in cold water, gentle cycle, as much water as possible). The blanket, after washing in warm water with other items and tumble drying low, measures about 92X82. The queen size mattress I'm using it on is about 10" high and the blanket falls about 12" from the top of the mattress on either side. It falls about 16" from the top of the mattress at the foot of the bed, enough for me to tuck in securely. So I think it works fine and I'm happy with it. That said, I purchased the same blanket in gray for another guest room with a queen bed, so I will measure the blanket before and after I wash it, and this time I will follow the instructions to see if it makes any difference and update this review accordingly. One comment about Utopia - I received an email thanking me for my purchase, offering tracking information for the item, and requesting that if there was any reason I would not rate the item as 5 stars, to please let them know and they would try to make it right. Now, I am rating the item 5 stars so I can't say how responsive they might have been if I were to have a problem, but I thought it was very proactive and customer friendly to reach out in this manner so I thought I'd mention it.

This is a very nice cotton blanket but it is much weightier than I would ever have guessed. I would call this medium weight even though it’s pretty thin. I had to take it off the bed because it was too warm. I will absolutely put it back on in the fall. I gave it 4 stars because it did fade in a cool water washer. But overall would recommend it.

Nice cotton blanket that doesn't get too hot and won't make you sweat. This isn't a super soft "cuddly" blanket, but it also isn't some stiff sandpaper blanket. It is 100% cotton and breathable with a nice texture. It has improved in "softness" after a few washes even though I purchased the white one (so no "break-in" from the dying process?). I haven't noticed any shedding or anything after washing/drying. I tend to turn into a furnace when I sleep so I don't get to enjoy the "curl up under the duvet and get cozy" way of sleeping. I was looking for a blanket that was 100% cotton so it was wicking, not crazy expensive, white (to help with some sensitive skin issues), and just breathable enough to stay a comfortable temp at night. I was not disappointed. The blanket checked all the boxes. I haven't noticed any issues after numerous washings so it seems durable enough so far. The color has stayed nice and white without any staining -- I think the addition of oxygen bleach during washing has helped with this.

I love this blanket. It is really well made, it is soft and washed nicely. It didn't throw my washer off balance like other cotton blankets have. It has a nice tight, smooth weave that doesn't stretch too much or shed fibers. It didn't shrink too much in the first washing. It did leave a small amount of lint in the dryer, but it is cotton so I was expecting some skrinkage and lint. This blanket looks nice on the bed and is a good weight for summer. It's not too heavy or too light. It could be used with a quilt or comforter this winter. I tend to sleep hot but I need something over me to sleep so I appreciate this blanket. I liked it so much, I bought 3 more for my kids' beds.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made. The blanket is exactly as described. I bought it several months ago & wanted to see how it is before writing a review. The color is just as shown in the picture so that was the first thing that was nice. It has never shown signs of fading at all. I have washed it multiple times & it has retained its color & shape. The fabric is soft & there has been no pilling, stretching, fraying or loose threads. It has held up beautifully. The weight is very versatile. It was perfectly warm during the winter months, yet light enough to use now that summer has arrived. It almost feels like a weighted blanket. The size is also as stated & fits like it was custom made for our king size bed. If I had to find anything negative to say, I would mention that it is heavy & awkward to fold when it comes out of the dryer. However, I am not going to ding it or drop any stars because, as mentioned, it’s a large king size so that was expected. I would highly recommend this blanket & have no reservations about ordering another in the future.

How does this have 4.5 stars?! I gave it three (and I’d go 2.5 honestly) because it is cotton like I wanted and looks like the picture and it is the size I needed. It also comes in a variety of colors. So I guess it’s got that going for it. That’s where the good stuff ends though. Really it just isn’t good quality. It’s not soft. It’s thin and hard, which is an odd thing to say about cotton! Cotton usually feels fibrous and weighty. This is thin like a lousy hospital blanket. It’s almost like it doesn’t wrap/drape like you would expect of cotton...maybe it’s not even cotton!! Just a few weeks before this I bought a cotton blanket of another brand and it was absolutely delightful. I wish I’d waited for the color I wanted to be in stock with that other company.

I am in love with this blanket. The cotton is nice and soft and durable. I washed it and it came out great. I love the bit of weight it has. I order the big as I wanted to layer it on my king size bed. The Khaki colour is very nice

Richtig tolle, große Baumwolldecken! Ich bin begeistert. Das Muster der Decken ist ebenfalls sehr ansprechend. Habe schon lange nach erschwinglichen Decken aus 100% Baumwolle gesucht. Im Gegensatz zu Polyester-Decken laden sich diese nicht statisch auf. Nichts find ich schlimmer als das "geknister" ;) Ist auch optimal, wenn man Haustiere hat, da die Haare dann nicht wie irre dran kleben bleiben. Auch nach der ersten Wäsche alles wunderbar. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen
