Pet MD Wrap A Pill Cheese & Bacon Flavor Pill Paste for Dogs - 4.2 oz

I can not say enough good things about this. My blue heeler started having seizures 8 months ago and has been put on medication twice a day. I will definitely say the cheese and bacon flavor is the way to go. We tried all of them and they are all different consistencies. The peanut butter one is super greasy and the bacon one is really dry and crumbly. As you can see, Nova loves the taste and when she finishes eating she’s waiting and ready for her pill making sure I don’t forget lol. It doesn’t smell bad. It doesn’t dry out in the container. Every Sunday I go ahead and prewrap all of her pills for the week and put them in a pill organizer so it’s quick. They hold up just fine. Don’t dry out or peel away at all. The paste is super easy to work with and a little goes a VERY long way. She gets one decent size tab in the AM and one and a half in the PM. The small container size lasted I believe over a month. (The container pictured is the bigger container. We ordered a small of each flavor then ordered a large of the cheese and bacon after trying them all and liking this one the best.) I definitely recommend this stuff. This what we’ll be using from here on out with her medication!

My dog has a chicken allergy and it's so difficult to find good products for her. She's on daily medication. This pill wrap has worked out great. She likes the taste and it's strong enough to mask the nasty pill flavor. Easy to use. Allows you to choose how much you need to cover the pill, so there's less waste.

My 70 pound dog had a severe kidney infection that nearly took her life. After $6000 spent at the ER, we were desperate to get her on the path to recovery. After she was discharged, she would not eat and trying to give her the remaining medication was so difficult. She would thrash and clench her jaw we could hardly get the medication in. Looking for solutions I came across this product. I ordered it and quickly realized I could mold this paste around multiple pills to cut down on the amount of times my dog had to take her pills. I was concerned it wouldn’t cover the pills well enough because each one was huge but the paste did the trick. We were so afraid we wouldn’t be able to get our dog her medicine and have to take her back to the emergency room for further care. Due to the effectiveness of this paste I have been able to administer her medication with relative ease. I she doesn’t take it willingly, but the amount of thrashing has subsided and she knows I just have to place it far inter the back of her mouth for a second or two and she swallows it. I will be using this paste from now on and so grateful. The smell is very enticing, my cats come running whenever I open the jar but the most important thing is it truly works and our dog is doing better and we can rest easy without fear.

3 weeks, that's how long the last pill regiment was for Fido. Well we ran out of the pill wrap we had before and decided to try Pet MD Wrap A Pill Cheese & Bacon Flavor Pill Paste for Dogs. I think they have a new favorite. Pill time is over, the regiment has been completed, Fido still bothers me every day for the pill wrap. Here's where using the product somewhat sparingly comes in. I take a small ball about the size of a chickpea and use the lid to flatten it out. This creates a small circle and the perfect cover to wrap a regular size pill in. The compound is soft and easy to work with and the crudes smell fresh, the scent is unmistakeable. When used as described the pill wrap lasts me awhile and equates to a respectable value overall.

Works exactly like it is supposed to. Dogs love it. I would hope it would last a bit longer. When you open the container to scoop some out, make sure to not leave it open too long. It will dry out. I wish it would not dry out as quickly as it does. However, if you are aware of this and don’t leave it open too long, it’s not that big of a deal. My dogs get medication twice a day and it lasts me about three weeks.

My German Shepherd cross with Belgium Malinois went to the vet for a nail trim and ended up having a tooth removed due to the tooth having a fracture, he also had to have several of the nails trimmed to the pad due another issue. He has two different pain medications, antibiotics and fungal pills? The poor dog has to take nine pills in morning and eight at night. He is the worse patient especially taking pills. But the pill wraps have been a miracle he is taking them with no problem. I do add a little Ready Whip to make it more a treat but I am not in tears like I am with pill pockets which he won't eat. This is day two and this will be going on for the next two weeks.

I have a Australian cattle dog and she is very adept at figuring out when I'm trying to slip her some meds, I've tried just about everything then a friend told me about this product. It's amazing! She takes medicine for bronchitis and for some liver issues(she's 12) the liver pills are a pretty good size tablet . I would crush them and put them in her food but most of the time she wouldn't eat it . Now, I cut them in half and wrap them with wrap a pill and she eats them like I eat skittles! I could wrap a golf ball with this stuff and she'd eat it !! So if your having trouble getting your pet to take their meds I highly recommend. Also she has pancreatitus and she tolerates it well. Ive not noticed any side effects and I believe she really loves the flavor.

I have been giving my lab pills for years unfortunately. We have tried different pill pockets and I got to the point I would pinch off what I needed from the pill pocket so I wasn't using the whole thing every time. Given. She gets three doses of meds everyday, I thought I would give this a shot. This flavor is the first one I tried by Pet MD and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I like that I have control over how much I use to cover the pills. I decided after having good luck with this flavor that I would try the peanut butter. The peanut butter didn't work nearly as well as the bacon and cheese. This one is just the right consistency to cover the pills and I don't need a whole lot to cover them. I know that she likes the flavor, but after all, labs typically eat anything that you give them or that they find! I'm so glad that I gave this a shot. I use a toothpick to bring up just a small amount of the product to cover the pill so I don't get any stuck under my fingernails. The only thing that might be nice is if they had one or two more flavors.
