So far, it works fine. I was expecting the stand to be more solid than what it is. It is mostly plastic. The stand can move even when the nobs are tightened all the way. For the price I am disappointed. If there was more metal parts and a way to lock the pieces in place, the stand would definitely be worth it.

We own another one and love it! It stays put and holds your phone well. It makes using GPS easier.

Have seen the advertisements for the Cup Phone for years. My husband expressed interest, and I was all in since he uses his phone for directions ALL THE TIME! Just bought the new, upgraded version that allows a horizontal or vertical view of the phone and now, the ability to extend the height. A few things: 1) Because some phones are a little heavier, with the extended height, the phone is a little more wobbly due to being top heavy. 2) Was REALLY SURPRISED the base does NOT fit snuggly in the cup holder, again making the item vulnerable to some movement. 3) WISHED they would have made the extension arm a little thicker to compensate for these two issues. 4) Since the overall product has movement and does so when there is a need for adjustment, it causes the driver to be a little more distracted trying to achieve the best position. (Not a lot, some) May have looked at other models now available. Recommend seller.
