Reception Maths Workout (CGP Reception)

Brilliant workbook! Everything what a kid may need in Reception. Really interesting activities encourage my boy to do the tasks by himself. I wish only there were more activities (only 40 pages) as the book is the best we have ever used! Highly recommend.

My 5 year old is improving everyday with the exercise book. Every day he does ten minutes of basic maths. I’m so pleased I invested in these. Love them! And my children of course. Lol

This is good. Like all the other CGP books this is quite comprehensive. It is much better to use it in conjunction with the actual school work. However it is great for lockdown. We have lots of little similar books ( from other sources) and we go through all similar sections in all books and then move on. As my 4 yr old is not really that much into maths, the book might move a bit too fast for us in certain areas hence why we also use other materials. It might have helped if it was a bit more colourful. But it's a great tool.

Excellent workbook for child transitioning from Reception to Year 1

Fantastic book! This was very useful in bringing my child up to speed with the Maths basics for Reception. It was easy to follow with lots of useful exercises. We went through this quite quickly though and I wish it had contained a lot more exercises.
