Good value for money
This system was easy to install. If you have basic knowledge of this stuff it's about a 45 minute job. You will need basic tools, like a drill. We had no missing parts. The water quality is great, we have heavy chlorine and it's undetectable in the filtered water. The only drawback is that this system has to think for a few moments before giving you water. Our previous system had a storage tank so it was immediate water flow, this one takes a few moments of contemplation. Otherwise, well worth the money for good tasting water.

Good taste water
We bought G2P600 on Amazon Primer Day with a huge deal. It was installed this week since we are waiting for our new countertops. It is easy and straightforward with the instructions. We compared this one with G3P600 and found out they both have the same RO system, with G3P600 is higher price because it has a reading panel shown about the parameters on the outlet tube. I think it is not needed, so we went with G2P600. The water quality is very good, it tastes with a little bit sweet flavor. From my view, it is better than the bottled water we always buy from Costco. Definitely worth it especially at Amazon Prime Day deal, so I don't need to buy water pitcher filters and no need to carry cases of bottle water any more. Highly recommended for the cooking water usage as well.

Tank less RO filter that is easy to maintain!
I have purchased this RO filtering unit after my previous RO filter with the tank stopped working. My handyman recommended this tank less system and I am very glad that I followed his advice. This Waterdrop G2P600 reverse osmosis system has completely transformed our daily drinking water by noticeably reducing TDS levels from 230 to 20 to deliver pure, crisp, and filtered water. I wish I had known about this years back which would have prevented the hassle that I went through changing 5 filter catridges every year. CF and RO filters on this unit are very easy to change and there is also an indicator when it is time for a change. It also has a provision to add the remineralization filter and it was easy to add that. I had a good experience with their customer service too. Their service rep Doreen helped to resolve the issue I was having with the carbon filter by sending the replacement in a timely manner. She was very professional and provided updates on the ticket and shipment along with confirming if the issue got resolved. The only thing I may have a small complaint about is that there is a 1 second delay for water to get dispensed and also makes a small humming sound. Maybe that is due to the unit being tank less and it is their budget model. Overall, I am very happy with this unit and definitely would recommend for anyone looking to buy a tank less RO filter that is easy to maintain.

Recommended (but get the mini tank too)
The Waterdrop G2P600 is an excellent reverse osmosis system (RO). We previously had a big tank RO but after a gallon or two it would slow down until there was just a trickle from the faucet. Then we would have to wait for the tank to refill. Having a continuous flow RO is a huge plus. And it takes up less than half the space as our old RO & tank. I had some concerns about the noise of the pump but honestly we keep it under the sink and when the doors are closed it's barely noticeable. However that we had one minor problem. There is a pause when you turn the faucet on. That momentary pause did not play well with our refrigerator ice maker. It made some loud noises. So I highly recommend if you are going to connect this RO to the refrigerator you buy the tank as well. (Waterdrop PMT Small Water Pressure Tank.) And then bleed a lot of water through the fridge to remove any potential bubbles in the line. Now there's no momentary lapse and the ice maker is quiet once again. You can see just how small the tank is compared to the RO in the attached picture. It was a very easy install and made a huge difference. Here's my water measurements in Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) measured in parts per million using the Craft911 water tester: 249 tds from the hose 324 tds from the sink (from a water softener) 34 tds from our old RO 12 tds from the G2P600 RO That's quite an improvement. Some day I'll have our water tested just to see what's actually in there and what the G2P600 is removing from the source. So I highly recommend the G2P600 and tank. This is proving to be one of my best Amazon purchases.

UPDATE: Fill larger containers to optimize RO to waste ratio.
Previous Headline : Does not produce 2:1 RO to waste ratio (unless you run it forever) ******UPDATE*****: I've had the Waterdrop GDP 600 for over a year now and I feel the need to update my previous 2 star review. Yes, you will waste more water if you primarily use the system to fill a small drinking glass. When you turn off the faucet a small amount of water flushes the system and flows through the waste tube. However, you can still achieve a very good RO to waste ratio if you simply fill a larger water containers. Since our purchase my family has primarily filled either our1 liter water bottles, or a pitcher of water we keep in the fridge. Problem solved! Delicious RO water for all with very respectable RO to waste ratio. Like any good tool, it works best when used correctly. If you are concerned about how much water you waste (looking at you CA), then be smart about how you use it. Customer service has continued to be great, replacing the first filter was a snap, and we have had zero problems! I don't think I could have found a better system to fit in the space I had available. Previous review: My review would be a lot better if I didn't feel like I was a victim of false advertising. Sure...they will find a way to tell you that it produces a 2:1 waste ratio, but it's kinda like how my car can go from 0-60 mph in 2.73 seconds if I drop it out of an airplane. For all practical purposes, this system wastes a lot more water than advertised. Before I get into it, let us start with the good: Super easy to install (after you cut a hole in your countertop). Water tastes good. Not too noisy. Compact compared to some of the other systems, which is great if you have limited space. Oh...and customer service was pleasant and helpful. Now the rest: I decided to collect the wastewater in a 3-gallon jug for watering plants. After a couple of weeks, it seemed like I was having to empty the jug far too often, so I decided to check how much waste one cup of RO water produced. I attached a video showing what I found. One cup of RO produced 1.5 cups of waste, for a 2:3 ratio! Nowhere near the advertised 2:1! So, I made the video and contacted customer support thinking there was something wrong with my system. Nope.... The advertised 2:1 ratio is calculated (as far as I can tell) when the system is running at its optimal rate and the initial waste and end waste are not considered a factor (they told me not to measure the water that continued to pour out of the waste tube after the faucet was off when calculating my ratios). Seems odd to not count water spilling out of the waste tube as waste, but that's what they wanted. I guess the initial and end waste would be inconsequential if you were running the system continuously for extended periods of time, but not for someone simply looking for a glass of water. So...if you are planning on using the RO system to fill a drinking glass, count on wasting more water than you get to drink. The efficiency does improve the longer you have the faucet on. 1 cup RO: 2:3 ratio 2 cups RO: 1:1 ratio 4 cups RO: 4:3 ratio I don't know how many cups until you get to the advertised 2:1 ratio, but it is well out of the average use range. In all fairness, it is completely possible that all undersink RO companies calculate their ratios the same way. I haven't researched yet and will update the review when/if I get around to it.

Best Tankless RO
The Waterdrop G2P600 is a great unit for the price. It was so easy to install .It took me longer to remove all my stuff from under the sink than to install unit. So easy to use and the instructions were easy to follow. Also it is so quiet I never hear a sound from the unit. I have had the unit for 3 months and it's working perfectly! You can't go wrong with this model if it fills your needs.

Excellent R/O system
Excellent R/O system. Doesn’t take up much room. Easy to install. Replacement cartridges are pricey but they’re supposed to last two years. If your replacement lights go off prematurely be sure to unplug the unit, and plug it in again as a power outage could make it malfunction. We had a short at my home, I immediately ordered the replacement cartridges because the R/O stopped working. After they arrived, I went to replace them. After I unplugged the unit, I noticed it reset itself and my old cartridges were fine. The unit was only 6 months old so I knew the cartridges should have lasted longer. Now I have an extra set when I do need them.

Delicious water at an affordable price!!!
I bought my Waterdrop G2P600 reverse osmosis system over two years ago and recently started having a technical issue with it. Now, even though the system was over a year out of warranty, Doreen from Waterdrop was very instrumental in the diagnostics of the system and getting things back to running perfectly. If you’re in the market for a new reverse osmosis filtering system, I highly recommend the compact Waterdrop G2P600 system, the water is pure and taste as clean as water possibly can. Also, if you ever have any problems, Waterdrop stands behind their product 100% of the time and will get you back up and running, as quickly as possible. Thank you Waterdrop, you are awesome!!!
