My photos show the textbook after I opened it for the first time. PROs: It contains good content overall. It provides a code if you want to read digitally, access virtual lectures, practice exams and quizzes, a study center, and analytic tools and methods.CONS: If you look closely, the pages are VERY delicate and thin. They’re already starting to wear out or as if it got wet, then dried. I have to be gentle in turning the pages because they will tip easily. The corners are already wearing out as well due to its soft cover. These are one of the times that you should not ignore the lower customer reviews. To compare, if you happen to own the APA Format 7th edition spiral-binded book, the pages are just as delicate. They really should lower the price due to its quality. I don’t even want to put it in my backpack because it will get ruined easily.

I quit school but I'm still reading this book

This is the worst book I have ever HAD to try to learn from. Talk about overdoing it! You are not Doctors!! I had to get a real book to learn from as this one confuses terms by stringing large words together!!

The book is NOT a hardcover like the description says. Also the pages are very thin and poor quality. It does have the code and everything else is correct, but it is a paperback book.

Received book in timely manner in decent condition. However, the advertised access code is no longer valid. Disappointing as one reason I selected this item was for online access.

I am very disappointed that a textbook has so many errors in it. At one point, they used ‘witch’ instead of ‘which’. The numerous grammar and spelling errors lead me to not trust much of the information being presented. I’m recommending the instructor for the course finds a different textbook.

Has some decent explanations, but is definitely American based so confusing when you have different lab values/measurements in Canada.Has critical thinking questions and case studies, but does jot supply the answers to help you know if your answer is correct.Would recommend reading the year before you take your Patho course because it’s waaaaay too much to absorb and recall during the semester.
