These are good utility - not top-of-the-line replacements, but long lasting and worth it
I use these scissors every day - they are perfect for cutting thread while my embroidery machine is running, and the curve allows me to get around the needle without removing the hoop. I also use the tip of the needle to snag the thread loop from the back of the needle when I rethread the machine. I have several pairs of these around my sewing workshop. These are just ok for cutting fabric - but at $15 or so, you should know that. They are shaped perfectly for cutting applique fabric without removing from the hoop or distorting the fabric/stabilizer, but the fabric needs to be pretty thin. I see some reviewers are knocking off stars for this and commenting that they went and got a pair of name-brand top of the line scissors "instead". No. Those others are $50-$75 - they simply aren't the same thing. Think of these as your go-to thread cutting scissors and you will be happy as a lark.

I kind of love these
I would give them 5 stars except there are scissors I actually love more. I have somewhat of a fascination with scissors and as far as I'm concerned you can't have too many of them. These are really cute and very sharp. The bent shape and the pointy tips make it easy to get into difficult places, which is good for embroidery and beading.

Great quality! My favorite scissors
These are the best embroidery scissors. They’re sharp and sturdy. Made of quality metal and crafted smooth and sturdy. Cuts through fabric and threads easily. Making embroidery and appliqué a breeze.

No really, get them
I LOVE these things. I have only used cheap embroidery scissors before these which dull quickly and can be a lot less precise. I got these at the recommendation of a friend, normally I wouldn't bother splurging on something as simple as scissors.. but I adore how close a trim I can get with these without risking an accidental cut or stab to the fabric. I have very shaky hands but I need to trim threads close to fabric many times every day so these took a tension while working out of me that I didn'teven know was there. They have stayed sharp. They seem sturdy enough that I should be able to sharpen them instead of simply replacing them when they dull unlike flimsier tiny scissors.
