Valterra SS05 SewerSolution Hose Connection Assembly with Hose - 10', Black

Product description is not correct. I only wanted the connection assembly but the only way to order was with the 10 ft black hose. The connection did not come with a hose as described.

Well made. Plastic but seems durable. Care should be taken in leaving it hooked up or how it sets in relation to your Valterra system as a hose with water in it will induce side stress that could overstress and possibly break this piece. It is marginally longer than the original yellow connector I had on the system before, but it all hooked right into the system just fine with only minimal leakage...could be I need to replace the O ring on my hose to control that..

This little gadget works with the rest of the Valterra Sewer Solutions and is the driving force. This is attached to the hose and then into the sewer cap. It keeps the waste from going down into the hose. Since I use my garden hose, this is really important!

Of course it's plastic. I am using this with the Valterra SS04 Sewer Solution pump and it has an anti backflow for obvious reasons. When the fitting is attached to the RV, the hose must be supported or you will risk breaking the male hose disconnect. I use a piece of solid insulated electrical wire looped through the frame and around the hose to accomplish this. Hope this helps. May God Bless.

Not exactly like my original as the safety feature is not present but is otherwise a good replacement.

Replacement for and old system. Worked great with no leaks

I had to purchase this due to me forgetting to pick up the original when breaking camp. We love the sewer solution ( I know sounds odd to say you love sewer) but this is so much better than the old school stinky slinky

We really like the Sewer Solution for our motor home. The anti-schiphon valve works very well.
