I have 4 bulbs grouped relatively close to one another will they still function properly? Will light from other bulbs cancel out the sensor?

If the bulbs are close to each other and in sight of each other, yes, they will cancel each other. I have a 3 bulb porch light with a claer cover. I had to insert a cardboard partition between the two bulbs, so light from one would not reach the other. That worked, and now they both come on.

Will these bulbs turn on in very cold weather?

These bulbs are the same design as any normal bulb, but have the ability to switch on by them selves( provided with power ) when it gets dark and can switch off when it gets light....very clever!! I use them for external security lighting at home, also in a couple lamps indoors...so I would recommend these bulbs in any application
