Works Great
Follow the instructions that came with the battery. The kit contains all the tools needed to replace the battery. It can be replaced smoothly according to the instructions, and the new battery can be used for more than 12 hours. well!

Good value!
I've used MaxBear batteries in the past, the last one made it almost 3 years (as seen in the photo) before it died, when it died out of the blue with no warning it was "stone dead"and wouldn't accept a charge! I was a happy camper when I restarted this Note 5 and it was at 58%

Crashes multiple times a day, needing total boot-up. UNDEPENDABLE!
Anytime, when you least expect it, the phone is suddenly off--NOT on "standby" (i.e. like quick push of Power Button, which then answers calls, texts, etc. and is "instant on"), but completely powered off. But this is NOT the same thing as "powering down", which is done methodically, showing certain screens, and making expected sounds. It's just as if the battery were suddenly unplugged. So if is important to answer phone calls (as it is for me), and respond quickly to texts and emails--ditto for me), you never know what or when you missed anything! It is stated as 3,800 mAh. While I haven't measured it, I KNOW that is not true. When I first put it in, I charged it overnight for a full charge. It couldn't make it through the afternoon. However it just seemed like screens weren't as bright, and I had to "up" my brightness settings. I really wanted to replace it with a battery from Amazon, because I can view the ratings, and get a great price. But there were no ratings better than this one for the Note 5 (but there are for other phones), so I didn't want to go through the pain of changing it again. I bought one from a local cell phone retailer, and saved $20 by putting it in myself (BUT costing double Amazon prices). This one is "only" 3,000 mAh (like the original), and...guess what: the screen is suddenly brighter. Have to turn the brightness down again. AND using it until well past midnight, it still had significant power left--roughly 30%. The good thing--I liked the tools. Screw driver was magnetic, so I could pick up the screws with it (which are TINY, so not so easy with my big fingers). You still have to fight them out of the phone, because they all have a tacky glue designed to keep screws from working loose over time. They aren't hard to unscrew, but being tiny, it's a minor pain x20 (20 screws) to get each one out. This is a feature of the Note 5, NOT this particular battery, and nothing that keeps someone of normal skills out, it just slows down the process. But the reason I put the info about good screwdriver and adequate other tools at the end is because who cares? Because of this ridiculous battery, I had to go through the process all over again TWO MORE TIMES! 1. Put back in my worn out battery, because it works--at least for half a day--until I can get my replacement battery. 2. Take my old battery back out again when I get the GOOD replacement battery. While in theory I would love one lasting longer than the 3,000 mAh battery, this 3,000 mAh battery lasts roughly double the misrepresented battery I bought from Amazon. Again, that it NOT the reason for the return. It is UNUSABLE because I can't have my phone suddenly dead anytime, who knows when, multiple times a day! I was offered a free replacement, no shipping cost. (So what--I've got Prime.) NO THANK YOU! I might do that for some products, but NOT one that is SUCH a pain to replace like current cell phones! (Years ago you just popped the battery out and popped a new one in. SO quick, that it was no big deal to do this every day IF you ran out of power. Now you can pop them in and out too...only it will take you an hour inexperienced, or maybe 20 minutes with all the experience I've had on this one, AND because I do NOT replace the dad-gummed adhesive! My protective cover back gives me all the extra security I need for the back to not pop off.

NOT UPGRADED BATTERY.
This is not an upgrade battery. Ad states this is a 3800mah battery but when installed it's only a 3000mah battery.

Great way to refresh a battery for the Note 5
Added life to a Note 5. The phone is used as a wifi device only and this made it practical for use again. No need to have it continuously plugged in anymore. Easy to install.

Good replacement
Good replacement product. Replacing it was not easy at all because the old battery is glued in but got it done and it works great.
