The outermost tools have fingernail holes to assist in opening and with a little practice you can open them one-handed. The sheath is crap. It feels flimsy and I am not a fan of velcro closures. The snap-closure mag pouch I bought for my old multitool (an mp400) on my duty belt is just too small for this guy, so I had to buy a new one. I am a little concerned that the thicker spring-assisted plier handles might be an issue with some of the very tight confines I have needed pliers in. The plier's jaws don't open as wide either. If I had a least favorite tool from this set its definitely the wire stripper. Overall, for the price, I think this is a perfectly fine entry-level multitool. The lower price point means you can more easily replace it if it breaks, gets lost, or is stolen, and I have had all three happen with various gear at my job.
