They arrive right when it’s time to replace them, and installation is quick and easy in my Café refrigerator. Perfect fit. No fuss, no muss… whatever that actually means. 😂 We’re on well water and already have a whole-house filtration system, but for drinking water, I still really like having an additional filter on the refrigerator water and ice dispenser. It gives me extra peace of mind, especially considering everything these filters are certified to reduce. I also appreciate that the genuine GE filters fit correctly and communicate properly with the refrigerator. We order this again and again. We have never had a problem with this water filter. Good price. Lasts long time. The water taste is great. So easy to place and take out. It fits.never leaks. I will keep buying them.

Highly recommend. They do make the water from the frig taste better. My plumber once told me the filters can go atleast 9months before replacing. I have stuck with the every 6months. Easy to install. This is my second filter. A bit pricey but worth it.

Update: Called GE and they sent me a new filter despite being past the returns date. Thank you. I just tried to replace the old filter and this new one is giving an error message. It says it's a genuine GE XWFE filter and it looks the same and came in a GE box. And of course, I'm past the return date because I wanted to have a replacement on hand. Very dissatisfied with getting a faulty product that may not even be as advertised, a genuine OEM water filter.

Perfect fit! I easily found this refill water filter on Amazon. I initially...quickly read over the instructions but, not fully. As a result of not taking the time to read it in its entirety, I thought something was wrong when I went to fill my glass with water, after Installing the filter and only running a HALF GALLON tea pitcher and dumping it ( The instructions clearly state to run at least 2 gallons of water through and dump it before use!) I noticed my water was cloudy with what looked like a faint color of blue ink in it! People...don't rush like i did, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! They are clear and easy to follow. After realizing my error 🙃 and correcting it, everything ran smoothly. This particular brand is a little more pricey than i anticipated, however it states you can get a good 6 months or longer out of this filter so I'm pleased. This brand is pretty good and the water taste way better now. Unfortunately, my husband kept clearing the red light on the fridge that indicates its time to replace the filter 😐 this resulted in our daughter getting a nasty little surprise in her cup one night! Thankfully, she had looked before putting the top to her cup back on and dumped the entire thing.

This filter makes my fridge water taste so so good. Before buying this one again, I purchased a cheaper one that worked but the water didn’t taste nearly as good and I honestly couldn’t wait for it to go bad so I could order this one again. lol. Its worth paying a bigger price for this one to have the GOOD water 🥳
