The entire 1L section taking from Bix bought this book.
These are the in-class summaries Bix gives to his first-year contracts class, compiled and elaborated upon. It's structured to mirror class, which is based off the casebook Knapp, Crystal & Prince, Problems in Contract Law (7th ed., 2012)Highly recommended for any 1L looking for a comprehensive review of Contracts that you can manage during the reading period leaving up to your final exam. Even the minority rules worth knowing are indicated.

Bix At His Best
Brian Bix is unusual: he writes at a high level of legal and philosophical sophistication AND he writes clearly. I will recommend this text for next year's Contracts students, and I plan to use it to launch an article on pluralism in contract theory.
