Update: I have lost a few lbs! This has been the only difference! Just bought my second bottle! I originally got this product because I felt bloated all the time. First, I want to say I don't take it the way it's directed. Instead of taking it a half hour before I eat, I just take two pills in the morning right when I wake up. I don't feel bloated all the time. Even when I'm eating somewhat unhealthy my body can handle it. I do eat pretty healthy though so I don't know how this would work with someone who eats a lot of processed foods. I can guarantee it would definitely help at least a little. I have now been taking this product for 2 months. I didn't realize it would also help with my ulcer. It has almost completely cleared up my acid reflux and the over all acid in my stomach. I can actually drink coffee or have a bite of chocolate without my stomach hurting. I would say if you're on the fence about this product, give it a shot. Before taking this product I would get a hangover from one glass of wine. All I can say is I haven't had a hangover since I started taking this product. There have been days where I forget to take it and I can feel the difference a little. I am sure if I stopped taking it for a week I would really feel the difference.

I suffer from opioid induced constipation for more than 10 yrs. From the very 1st time I took Purely Optimal Digestive Enzymes, I could feel it start to work. Bloating started going down and I could feel the urge to use the toilet!! The only thing I didn't like was that the product in the pic on Amazon shows San Jose CA as where it's made but product I received says Seattle WA. Also, product on Amazon shows the specific probiotic strains used but product I received dose not. This concerns me greatly. It's hard to trust this company when product purchased isn't as described on Amazon. Overall, I recommend but still going to head a warning about possible scam????

I started having digestive system issues (i.e. constipation, abdominal pains, bloated feeling, etc) at an early age that became worse as I grew older. I went to many gastroenterologists who would give conflicting diagnoses and prescribe medicines to temporarily relieve the symptoms, but not provide long lasting treatment. So far I have had at least 7 colonoscopies and endoscopies, but as always, none of the doctors could tell me exactly what is wrong. On 01/20/2021, I had to go to hospital at 8:00 in the evening due to severe abdominal pain which was accompanied by dizziness. It wasn't easy to find the right one because there's soooo many of them. I started reading reviews and after comparing about four top brands, I decided to buy Purely Optimal's Digestive Enzymes. I received the item on January 25, 2021 and I started taking them the same day. It's been 16 days and so far I have not had any abdominal pains, bloatedness, and constipation. I am very happy with this product because it works!

Please note my review is not a substitute for proper physicians or gastroenterologist care. I purchased this product as a substitute for another 5 star Amazon recommended brand only because stock for that one ran out. That said, I found it to be quite potent being it had more digestive enzymes and probiotic microrganisms varieties listed than the previous brand. This brand will handle gut constipation, irregularity, chronic inflammation, and other digestive descrepancies very well, clean you out with good sized bowel movements, as well as promote a feeling of bloating, gas, and other "weighted down" relief. You take two pills 30min before a meal for optimal benefits. For me 2 per day did great wonders, and do not overdose on these as too much will cause gut pain and discomfort, as I found out. Take as directed and give it time to work as the probiotic strains and colonies need to grow and buildup in your intestines if you haven't had proper gut microbiome for a long time. Expect good results within 5 to 10 days of proper use and keep your doctor abreast of your progress and use.

I am a 68 y.o. male have suffered for years with periodic stomach and bowel issues, which have gotten increasingly worse over the past 4-5 years. It would vacillate between constipation and normal bowel movements. Aside from this issue, I have been healthy otherwise, just dealing with some arthritis. I tried a couple of other pre/pro-biotic products, but nothing seemed to help...until I started using Digestive Enzymes, about 2 weeks ago. At the time, I was going through a particularly bad "attack" and it was not fun. As soon as I received this product, I started using it. Within 24 hours, I was feeling great! It was like magic...I was back to my young self! Now, it's been 14 days and the product is still working and I am so grateful to have found it. Thanks for an excellent product at a very fair price!
