ProCase with Retractable 36" Kevlar Tether Protects Rangefinders, GPS Units, Phones and More

This is a fairly unique case in design and function. It has solid outside shell with a soft protective interior. The closure is also unique with a stretch like latch that goes over a stud to keep the lid closed. Good design. Its a little larger than I thought it would be but works great. It also has a rather unique interior retention cord which you can attach to the stored device. Avoids the risk of dropping the item when you take it out. Very solid and high quality construction.

I purchased two of these, along with two each of the large and small size cases. They're well constructed and have well endured two hunting/hiking trips thus far. The lids remained secure while going through brush and were easily opened, even while wearing gloves. The tether cords seemed indestructible and long enough to allow pulling the gear (e.g., range finder, GPS unit, radio) from my belt or shoulder straps for easy use by myself or my hunting buddy to take a look-see. The Velcro strapping on the back of the cases allowed them to be attached in varying ways to my pack's straps, hip belt, and my pant belt. Also, the cases remained securely fastened while navigating through thick brush. Additionally, the case material is rugged and definitely protected my gear. In the past I've used other pouches for similar purposes but I've found these to be way better because of the retractable tether, method of secure closure (quiet open and closing with no Velcro sound), versatility of attachment, and the rugged case material.

Updated review 2/25/2017: Had one for years for my smaller smartphone. Unfortunately even the X-Large won't fit my new phone, which is about 6.25" with armorcase, which is not very big as phones go these days. Great case but T-REIGN needs to keep up with the times.If it fits your phone, it's the ideal phone case for outdoor activity, construction work. There is nothing else on the market that is so easy to open, hangs on your belt, and protects the phone from bumps, crushing, and light rain. Search Amazon and you'll see what I mean. I do construction and I've used one for years. Even sitting on it doesn't cause problems for the phone.Come on T-Reign! Need a size longer to fit larger smartphones (6"-6-1/4" high). Fits my Nikon Archers Choice rangefinder perfectly. I really like how you can attach the case vertically or horizontal. Be aware-the tether is a bit noisy and can easily alert deer, or other game. As long as you are mindful and draw it slow; it shouldn't be an issue. Water resistant and good construction. Great price and well worth it.

Excellent product. The xtra large size fits my swarovski 8x30 range finder perfectly. Very well made and the tether is a bonus. The clasp works very well and the lid fit is very good

Works great. Velcro strap holds to whatever it can wrap around (backpack strap, waist belt, etc...) and hard shell is very protective of minor impacts. Latch closure is effective and simple. Return chord has an appropriate amount of tension and length, does not interfere with brief usage of bins/range/etc. Measure your device to make sure its big enough. This is one of those tools where youll never know if it saved your @$$ or not, because it works

Fits a Samsung Galaxy S4 with some room to spare. Might not fit if you put a case on the S4. I use this daily to hold the phone. Super rugged. Will never fall off the belt, as my previous solutions have done.Update: belt loop broke after four months of daily use. The bottom end of the belt loop is attached to the pouch body by two rivets. I think the product is ostensibly designed for some rough outdoor action, but the design failed at those two rivets. I called the manufacturer (Ontario, California) to inquire about any warranty, and they offered to repair or replace for free, but I would have to pay four dollars for shipping. This is in contrast to another product I have bought for a similar purpose, the SPI-belt, also available on Amazon.com. Under similar usages conditions, the SPI-belt lasted me six months rather than four; the manufacturer (Austin, Texas) asked for a photo of the damage and then immediately sent me a free replacement without asking me to pay any extra penny.

Ruugged and well portable

I've always been paranoid about dropping my Panasonic Lumix digital camera when I'm climbing, or even when I'm out on a hike with my boyfriend, but there are so many good shots to take in places like Surrey that I've just had to bring the camera anyway and live with the fear. Buying the Securikey T-REIGN ProCase means I don't have to worry anymore which is awesome. It keeps my camera safely secured onto the tether thingy that comes in and out of the case, and it also protects my camera from rain and bashes - both common occurrences in outdoor sports. I'd recommend this to anyone who is as paranoid as I am about dropping their camera or other belongings!
