good back support
I recently purchased the Giantex Drafting Chair High Back Office Chair with Footrest Ring and Flip-Up Armrest, and I must say, it's fantastic! From its ease of assembly to its excellent support, this chair has exceeded my expectations in every way. Assembly was a breeze; I had the chair set up and ready to use in no time at all. The instructions were clear and straightforward, and all the necessary tools were included, making the process hassle-free. One of the standout features of this chair is its excellent support for the upper back. As someone who spends long hours sitting at a desk, having proper support is crucial for preventing discomfort and fatigue. The high back design of this chair provides ample support, allowing me to maintain good posture throughout the day. Whether you're working in an office or using it at home for extended periods, I highly recommend this chair. It's comfortable, ergonomic, and well-built, making it perfect for anyone in need of a reliable seating solution. As an added bonus, the delivery of the chair was even faster than expected. I received it a whole week earlier than anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. In summary, if you're in the market for a high-quality office chair that offers excellent support and comfort, look no further than the Giantex Drafting Chair. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent quality and great fit!
I bought this high back office chair for my telework from home about 5 months ago, it arrived on time, it’s much better quality than I expected. Easy assemble, Straight forward, I put it together in 20 minutes by myself, it came with clear instructions. This chair is perfect for my standing desk at home, I am 6”5, 250 pounds, I have back issue and can’t stand for long time, it has a nice lumber curve, so this high back chair works out great to support my back, and especially the breathable mesh back keep my back cool. I have A comfortable and relaxing working day at home since I used this chair. I use it during works eight hours a day, thanks to it make my work more enjoyable. The flip arms make my body more close to the desk, adjustable height, adjustable foot rest, space saving and very durable. Very pleased with this purchase!

So far, so good!
So far, so good. I've had the chair for almost a month now. I purchased this to take an occasional break from my stand-up desk and am very pleased with the style and comfort. Fully adjustable from table to counter height. And the foot rest is also adjustable so I think it fits to my needs. Makes a good craft stool for painting & etc. or home office. I particularly like the support it provides for my sometimes achy lower back. The arms move so I can pull them up to get them out of my way to exit. Wheels roll very nice. The quality seems very good. The mesh seat is more comfortable for sitting for several hours because it's breathable. Assembly was pretty easy, took me 30 min. For the price and quality I give this chair a 5 stars rating.

Good chair. Doesn't feel premium, but still has all the expected features & implements them well
At this price point, I was hoping to get a chair that, in terms of craftsmanship, felt a bit above some of the $50-$80 chairs that I have bought in the past for previous workspaces. Unfortunately, this was not the case with this chair as it still does not feel like its constructed top notch. There were some minor marks and scuffs on the plastic parts of the chair that I received, and one of the wheels did not fit into the wheelbase of the chair without actually using a hammer to hit it down hard (because the plastic the wheelbase was constructed from was not an exact fit for the wheel itself as it should be :/). Overall the chair feels comfortable and has many of the premium features you would expect in more expensive chair models. However the material it's constructed from doesn't feel premium, and the craftsmanship/quality control was not a step up from the previous $50-$80 chairs I purchased. This one was $120. The chair was not easy to assemble, because some of the parts did not exactly fit together as they should have (like the wheel I mentioned above) and required your own hammer to completely construct. TLDR; I would rate the chair a 3.5/5 if I could. Overall, it has nice features for the price point, but the craftsmanship and quality control were just not there for my model.

Living with it has revealed some issues.
This chair is not a disappointment when assembled. Looks nice and the size, shape & features are as advertised. Now, after about a year of regular use I have some feedback to share. I have long legs and so most important to me was the measurement of the seat bottom from front to back. It's accurately listed at 20". Unfortunately, not all of that 20" is usable. The seat Back has a built-in non-adjustable curvature and this forces me to sit about 3"- 4" forward from the rear of the Back cushion. This means that my thighs are further forward than I'd like, resulting in my Thigh resting on the front edge of the chair about 6" behind my knee. This puts unwanted pressure on my leg and I believe it's not conducive to good blood flow to/from my lower extremities. This situation exists even with my feet on the bottom ring footrest. And I always use the ring footrest. I tried adding a 2" cushion to relieve the pressure. This was ineffective and presented a new issue. Now, I am lifted up 2"...but the Back curvature is now more prominent. Results in Higher but further forward position. No win here. I thought I'd like the arm rests. I tried one side, than the other side, both, and neither. Results: Neither, and so, for me, they've been Up since the 1st week. You might like them as they're nicely padded. I also thought Height Adjustable was perfect because I do have a high desk. Often sitting at the highest setting possible and sometimes Standing. Alternating works well for me. Unfortunately, the "gas" piston that allows up/down has developed a peculiar habit. Without warning, it suddenly drops down. Sometimes there's a warning slippage of a few inches, at other times it slowly drops to the bottom. I've learned to pull my feet off the Ring just in time. It's not predictable to require replacement yet. There's one feature missing. I felt at the time of purchase that a Tilt-back seat was something I could live without. And that I regret. Often when I'm watching a video/zoom I would like a small amount of "tilt" but unfortunately it's not on this chair. No fault of this chair maker. My mistake. So, that's about the most expansive view I've written here on amazon. Hope it helps... and to answer the question: Would I buy it again? NO! ...and too, most likely, I'll not replace it with any other chair without first sitting in it prior to purchase & assembly...Lesson learned. UPDATE/ 11/4/21 ~ OK, so here's more info for you to consider: Yes, like many of you, due to the Covid pandemic, I have spent alot of time at my computer and so alot of time in this chair. I did make a welcome modification. I was able to remove the hard plastic molded Backrest from the chair. This allowed me to sit further back and so remove some of the pressure under my thighs and increase blood flow to my lower limbs. Clever and more comfortable. Yet, another issued has continued. The action of slowly dropping down continues. It's a daily event lately but still manageable. I suppose I could look for a replacement cylinder but I'm attempting to reduce my inve$tment in this chair. It still works well enough but it's not something I would purchase again.

What a buy! The Giantex Drafting Chair could be the BEST BUY of the year. It's a Honey.
Recently becoming an above knee amputee, I needed something to make working in the kitchen without having to perform every task above my shoulders. The simple act of using a cutting board quickly becomes painful when working from the low point of a wheelchair. After a great deal of research, I purchased a “Giantex Drafting Chair” (Amazon — $109.00) to raise me up eight inches. I knew the wheels would likely need to be upgraded. At that price, this is not an issue. Evan with the added cost to upgrade the wheels, IMO, the chair is ridiculously under priced. Throughout the years, I've purchased my share of furniture, always seeking the best value. Never make decisions based solely on price. My circumstances are unique, requiring the wheel upgrade. Most people would be just fine with the stock wheels. However, if you want to super-charge the movement as well as create a whole new, distinctive look, I suggest you consider the UNIQ Wheels. Each of these products are top shelf on their own. Combining them creates a chair that performs better than any I have experienced, and the look makes a statement to your discerning good taste. From the first roll, I was so impressed with the quiet, smooth travel. With very little effort, the chair glided across the kitchen floor. Now, if you're seeking a chair with extra height that is the best bang for your buck, this is it. Not only do the wheels outperform any I have ever had, but the entirely UNIQUE DESIGN adds a touch of class not found on anywhere. The Giantex Drafting chair remains completely silent. I'm convinced the chair is well-designed, as well as VERY well manufactured. As a lay person, I'm convinced it last a long time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH PRODUCTS referred to in this review. I'm confident you will be as impressed with either or both as I am.

goes very high
for being a mesh back and no back cushion this is very comfortable. The cushiony ones give my back no support. so I needed something a little more firm for the long hours I am sitting. I love how high or low this one goes. and the adj lumbar makes it so comfortable. perfect pressure. i took a picture of the lever its on the back you lift up or down. It swivls 360 round. nice and compact. not bulky at all but wide enough seat with plenty of room for a plus size. Arm rest is material and does have cushion and does move up or down so if you do not want them you can push out of the way.
