McDavidCompression Padded Shorts with HEX, Hip, Tailbone, Thigh Pads - Girdle Tights for Football, Hockey, Basketball-Unisex

I bought these for skiing after I had a fall that bruised my thigh. These shorts are sleek and easily fit under my ski pants. I felt like they rode a little low on my waist. I guess the current style for pants, in general, is to not rise above the hip bone. These are not super padded for extreme impact. They will, however, provide, a great deal of cushioning with very little bulk.

I'm not sure what these were designed for, but I suck at skateboarding. So I fall. A lot. The thighs are super padded and the hip pads (little pads) are not where I need them to be. So I went with a different brand.

I was primarily looking for hip and tailbone protection, but the added thigh protection is nice.These shorts move well with your body and don’t bunch up anywhere They’re not visibly noticeable under ski pants when skiing or walking, but you can vaguely see the hex pattern when sitting on a chair lift with shell-type ski pants.I originally bought the Shock Doctor Ultra Shockskin and the docooler 3D Padded Shorts, but sent them back.The  Shock Doctor Men's Ultra Shockskin 5-Pad Extended Thigh Impact Shorts  looked really cool, but the padding was really hard, it almost had a styrofoam feel to it. Very dense. Also, when squatting the thigh pads didn’t flex well with you.The  docooler 3D Padded Short Protective Hip Butt Pad Ski Skate Snowboard Skating Skiing Protection Drop Resistance Roller Compression Shorts Pants  were a bargain, but were a bit too bulky. They’d work well for snowboarding.The McDavid Hex Shorts are expensive, but as I mentioned they’re well made and serve my intended purpose well.

I wear these while I referee soccer games, Indoor & Outdoor. I have constant pain in my thighs from nerve damage. The padding works great for cushion against impacts from fast moving soccer balls. I get hit by balls at all age groups even adults. The hexagon pattern is designed so that it hugs with the contour of your body including the hip and tail bone pads. It is Lightweight and NOT bulky! They feel like you are wearing normal compression shorts. Quality is TOP NOTCH!

Fits perfect but I misread discription.It does not have a pocket for Support Cup like the other pair I bought. Just make sure you know you will have to wear a jock strap for a cup underneath these shorts

Bought these for my daughter. She landed the lacrosse goalie position and needed pads for protection. These fit her well, true to size. Well made. Great product. I definitely would buy again!

We bought this product to protect our 14 year old son while playing competitive basketball. He is an extremely aggressive player that needs padding every where from diving around on the floor. We also love the protection from getting kneed in the thigh to protect him from deep thigh bruises. Great product - had to order a size up because they were too tight in the legs. This along with McDavid knee and elbow pads protect him from bruises and floor burns.

This type of protective clothing for Basketball players is rare to find and really good quality.Very fit for purpose and well worth the money.Excellent padding in all the right places and fits wellUsed to purchase a well known brand product but really hard to find now unless purchased from the US, although, these are as good or better.Purchased several over the years and they have more than served the purpose and prevented so many potential injuries.

very good and you're paying for that. post game no hip bruising and the short material is very light. the protection is quite thick but is excellent and very flexible. i didn't even know i was wearing it in the game.

Volevo cambiare i miei pantaloni con protezione stile portiere...ho trovato questi che avevano un costo maggiore ma la marca mcdavid è famosa per le protezioni...così ho provato a prendere questo pantaloncino...presi per giocare a pallavolo,devo dire che attutiscono molto bene gli urti dei voli che uno fa in partita! Ottimi! Io ho una taglia 48 di Jeans ed ho preso la L sono leggermente attillati sulle gambe perché ho le gambe muscolose,vita precisa,sono a dentro a pelo nella misura L

Despúes de jubilar los Nike Pro Combat, he tardado en acostumbrarme a estos, pero al cabo del tiempo te adaptas y pasan a ser tus pantalones protectores favoritos, se usan para hacer de portero de fútbol sala, donde tirarse al suelo de la pista es algo que pasa muy muy amenudo.Protegen bien y quedan bien puestos no se nota mucho debajo del pantalón normal

Wird für Football verwendet, Passform ist wirklich sehr gut da die Hexpads sich der Körperform anpassen. Mit 9mm Dicke sind die Pads recht flach und wirken nicht zu bullig
