So yes, a 2.5” SSD drive should fit. However, make fore you leave enough space for the cord. **Q: Anyone able get their usb-c port to charge?** A: The ports should all work. However this item is not reccomended by Tesla and it causes problems electrically. I would not use this item. I had to remove mine. **Q: Should this work with an apple magsafe phone charger? it does not seem to power it from the c port.** A: If you have a Model 3 with two USB-A ports this device will not increase the wattage on the USB-C port.
