GU Energy, Liquid Energy, Lemonade - 12 Count

These energy liquid gels have been a total game-changer for my long runs. They’re super easy to carry and digest, giving me a quick boost exactly when I need it without any stomach upset. These are such a great alternative to solid or gel fuel during a run! They are just straight liquid and go down quickly. If you have a sensitive stomach I wouldn’t just drink it quickly but take a few sips at a time. The lemonade flavor is “ok”, definitely artificial tasting.. almost like if you sprayed some lemon counter cleaner and tasted the mist in the air

Typically gels will upset my stomach but these don’t. They go down super easy because they’re very liquid like. Tastes like super strong lemonade. Very effective, didn’t feel fatigued during my marathon and was overall very pleased with these

Love the flavor, downside is gels are becoming pricy. Switching to salt Sticks and Salt capsules.

Kept me going during my last marathon, easy to drink, pleasant taste and did not cause any GI distress. The packets were also easy to open on the go. Well worth the price.

I ride a road bike and have been using Gu gels for several years. Biggest complaint is just using them. Gel is sort of thick and sweet and a little messy. Usually carry a little ziplock bag to put the empties in two they don't get my jersey pocket messy. The liquid gels are really easy to use, even when on the bike. The flavor is good (lemonade) and they are not particularly messy. I don't mind putting the empty in my pocket. Down side is that they are not as strong as the other gels... your not getting as much out of each package, and they are more expensive. Bit of a trade off, but, at least for me, it is worth it.

Delicious and great energy boost. I’ve made a habit of going to CrossFit, putting in my all, doing a little extra strength workout then going straight to run club. It’s almost a 3 hour workout span with no fuel. I am running a marathon so I bought these as fuel. I decided to do a trial run between CrossFit and run club (a short but fast 5k). I am always sluggish and achey after CrossFit but not today! Wow was this little packet a difference maker!! I felt amazing after I took it, during the run and after the run. I even PRed. After CrossFit!!! Usually I can only PR after a rest day. Excited to train with these!! Also the lemonade tasted great!

I'm not sure if mine got too warm in transit or something. My brother gave me some of these years ago and I really liked them, so I bought some more. They taste great, and the gel IS easy to swallow. Now the bad part. Every time I use these I get violently ill, palpitations, pounding headache, sweating, nausea, vomiting. Not sure what the deal is. To my knowledge I'm not allergic to any ingredients in this. Since I do get bad migraines with the above symptoms every once in a while anyways, I didn't link them at first to my using this product. After a few times though it became obvious that this carb gel was actually the cause of my issues. Now, maybe the stuff just got too warm in transit. It was liquid when it arrived, so I threw it in the fridge and used them after they gelled up a bit. If that's the case I cannot really blame the product per se but it makes ordering this stuff online pointless if it's not temperature controlled during delivery.

il gel è anche un buon prodotto, molto liquido ma basta prendere la mano per aprirlo correndo, invece di versarlo su maglia e scarpe. gusto limone non nauseante. peccato che nella confezione ce ne siano solo 9 anziché 12
