Works great
Great scanner! I did a lot of research to figure out which would transfer scanned photos most easily, and this one won out. It’s the only one I could find that transferred photos via WiFi and I can send them right to my iPad, which I love. Also love that it’s small and portable so I can take it with me if necessary

Streaky Images EVERY TIME
I got this scanner bc my grandma unexpectedly passed away and we were all scrambling as a family to get photos together across several states. Purchasing this, I thought it would be perfect for scanning the photos we have here, not only to get to the funeral home, but to share with family members. It was easy to turn on and get started, and the size was nice for being portable, but that was about where the pros ended. It’s not a smooth glide when scanning, no matter what surface and how much pressure you do or don’t use. It also doesn’t seem to help going extra slow either. The photos are grainy and streaky. Also tend to be widely uneven in the coloring across the photos. I cleaned the scanner bar between every single photo hoping it would help, but to no avail. Wasted an hour and a half of my time scanning awful pics bc the display is so tiny it’s difficult to see. I'm devastated and so disappointed this wasn’t what was promised. Off to buy a real scanner to do the job this one failed to complete.

Handy, but not universally perfect.
I really like the portability of this device, and it works very well for my uses, which is to scan pages in a library or university collection without a bulky setup. It does have a serious tendency of causing distortion to things like photographs due to the imperfect nature of dragging it manually down a page, where it easily falls into skew. It's great for not having to break a book spine saying it out flat on a scanner, though. It does have a lot of luminesce banding, and the brightness can be streaky across and down because it only lights the surface when movement is detected, and not consistently. I'd love to see a software update for this someday soon, or to have a library to make my own. Again, great for text/OCR, but not great quality for photographs.

Simple scanner
This scanner is very simple and unfortunately not very many features. First of all operating system is dated 2011. It still looks for a 3G WiFi connection?? No software to fix pictures. The instructions are written 13 years ago I guess. Very difficult to get a WiFi connection. Now it’s portable and very simple to use when working. The system would jam up at times and I had to restart it. Also pictures were dark. I would have kept it if I could have corrected the photo after scanning. For a few dollars more get a better scanner.

Terrific little phot and document scanner!
I received this scanner a couple of months ago and it is terrific! Compact and easy to use. I have used it to scan photos from a relative's collection of family photos and it did a fantastic job without damaging the original photos. Love it! And I've even recommended it to a brother in law.

WORTHLESS
Throwing this piece of crap out. First - manual is worthless. Tried Munbyn website - worthless. Tried youtube videos - worthless. Oh the scanner works ok for scanner but good luck getting the photos (scanned images) off this damn device. When hooked to the computer, the computer not only doesn't recognize it but it caused my brand new laptop to crash when I hooked it to the computer. FlipPal scanners are much easier and user friendly. Regret spending a penny on this!!

Works awesome on pictures
I used it to copy some old photo albums for a family member. It did an amazing job copying entire pages at a time. The only limiting factor is the width of the scan, some pages had to be done as 2 pieces. They turned out awesome.

Great customer service! FIRST THING I RECOMMEND CALIBRATE THE WHITE SETTING FIRST!!
Had to return the unit as the Instructions and videos were of no use. Would not power on after charging. Oliver from customer service emailed me and sent a new scanner. FIRST THING I RECOMMEND CALIBRATE THE WHITE SETTING FIRST!! It works pretty well. There is a learning curve to get a good scan. The speed wasn't such an issue it was the straightness of the paper that is the most pressing problem. Wifi was super easy to setup. Unfortunately, the web address you go to see the scan is not in english so I was lost.

The Wi-Fi connection is an old system, and it is impossible to sort it out. It's good for documents or average photo scans but not high-resolution photos.
