Great coffee, especially at this price point. I add a bit of dark roast when I want a darker overall brew with a little "kick".Some reviewers feel it's a bit weak but I did not find it so. Adding some Italian, French or other darker roast solves that easily

I love this coffee. I like to buy the whole beans because after I grind it and the flavor and the aroma of this coffee is amazing specially when I use it on my Nespresso machine. Quality is very good.

Right out of the gate these beans smell like heaven. Grind them and it gets better. Put them in a French press and they are absolutely delightful. Reasonable price for 2 points of coffee. Quite happy with my purchase

Literally his FAVORITE coffee. These whole bean coffee bags are what they served us in Punta Cana! He says it tastes like vacation every morning :) These are normal size bags and comes 2 in a box. A bit pricy, but if it tastes like that, it's worth it!

I read a few recent reviews complaining of burnt smokey taste and acidity. I can only comment on my experience. I received a 16 oz bag of Café Santo Domingo whole bean coffee on October 22, 2024. I noticed a pleasant aroma when opening the bag. This coffee has a nice flavor, not at all burnt or overly acidic. If anything, I found that I needed to add a little extra coffee than recommended per cup to satisfy my taste. The instructions on the bag recommends using one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup but I found using a rounded tablespoon more satisfying. I gave this coffee 4 stars rather than 5 but only because I do have other types of coffee such as Ethiopian that are my favorites. Café Santo Domingo whole bean coffee is a good coffee to have and it also has a very reasonable price. I paid $12.99 for 16 ounces but I pay more for only 12 ounces of my favorite Ethiopian coffees.

It has a brownie-like taste with some other distinct tasting notes that I suck at describing, but I really like it. I tried this in the french press, likely with too many grounds, but the flavor was strong and satisfying. It's a little different than the other beans I tried.Disclaimer: Like all my coffee, I add some sugar. And I haven't used the french press in a while but I can confidently say that with my way of brewing it, it's fantastic. Taste will vary to some degree depending on how you brew it.
