## Overview

The Rhino-Rack Mounting Kit (43235) is a durable, powder-coated stainless steel bracket designed to securely mount up to four recovery boards on Rhino-Rack Pioneer platforms. Engineered for easy installation and backed by a 3-year warranty, it keeps your vehicle interior clean by storing muddy recovery tracks externally, making it an essential upgrade for serious off-road enthusiasts.

## Description

The flat bracket to suit Maxtrax and Tred recovery tracks fits onto the Pioneer with a resultant set of 4 location bolts/pins protruding upright and tightened via the set of knobs securing the recovery tracks in a set and firm position. The Pioneer Recovery Tracks Flat Bracket is easily installed and made from corrosion resistant black powder coated steel. Installation on the Pioneer roof rack keeps the dirt and mud outside your vehicle after use. Suitable for all models of Pioneer, up to 4 x Maxtrax or 2 x Tred can be stacked, utilising this bracket.

Review: Works, but not the best design - A couple of problems: The price point is a little high for two pieces of bend metal with holes for mounting. Second, you can't mount the Maxtrax lockable mounting posts to it. You have to use the bolts with the knobs provided, which provide no security for your expensive Maxtrax. So, in order to properly prevent theft, you will need to cable lock them to the rack. If you need to do that, you might as well use tie down straps along with the cable lock and save yourself the expense. Rhino really needs to rethink this design in order to justify the expense. Especially if you are using about $15 in materials to construct it.

A couple of problems: The price point is a little high for two pieces of bend metal with holes for mounting. Second, you can't mount the Maxtrax lockable mounting posts to it. You have to use the bolts with the knobs provided, which provide no security for your expensive Maxtrax. So, in order to properly prevent theft, you will need to cable lock them to the rack.
