Searchlight Comics 50 Comic bundle with 25 Marvel and 25 DC Comics

I've gotten a few of these kinds of grab bag bundles, but this one was by far the best I have ever gotten. I got a great mix of comics from the early eighties to newer releases from the past few years. I will definitely order again because you won't find a better deal for what you get!

First off, this item arrived extremely late. It was supposed to arrive a few days before Christmas but it showed up a week after New Year's Day. That being said, I think the delay was caused by the shipping company not the seller. I think UPS simply lost it. I'm only mentioning that on the off chance that others experience or experienced something similar. Now on to the nitty gritty. This purchase was made for my son, who enjoys reading comics but does not have a huge collection. It was intended to be a "collection starter" as it effectively doubled (at least) the previous amount he had. None of the comics were in mint condition, I don't know anything about the value of comics, but I don't think you'll find any rare or expensive comic books in your shipment. But with that being said, this is an AWESOME deal for anyone looking to bulk up a collection, looking for a new series to try or just a comic fan in general. I'm not a comic book guy (but we all do things for our kids) and even I thoroughly enjoyed looking through everything with my son to see which comic was next. It was actually kind of exciting. I recognized many of the names of the characters and enjoyed flipping through the books of the ones I didn't know. He was really excited about getting them. If you are looking for a way to bulk up a collection or if you simply enjoy reading comics then you should make this purchase. Particularly if you aren't looking for any kind of investment return. This is simply a huge variety of used comics. The ones I got ranged from mid 80s to maybe 2005 or 2006ish. The advertisements in the older comics were great to look at and provided a pure nostalgic value for me. Pros: great value, awesome variety Cons: none really. I mean they're used. You don't get to choose the ones you get etc. But that's not how they're advertised so you know that going in. If my kid enjoys them as much as I expect him to I'll be ordering another 50 soon.

got delayed in the mailing process but thats understandable at this time of year with all thats going on. couldnt be more pleased with the product, though. 50 comics as stated . all in superb shape . no adult type comics as I'd seen in a couple of reviews. there was a # 1 edition a good variety. my grandson will be ecstatic. I would definitely recommend these . 2 thumbs up

Honestly this is definitely worth the money! Not only is it cheap for a lot of comics but it’s a steal; I got a large variety of different characters from both the Marvel and DC Universes. I got no copies and almost all of the comics were Mint or at least very nice quality! I even got some first appearances and special edition ones like 1st Issue of Justice League of America and a Looney Tunes Superman Crossover! Almost all of the comics came in wraps and were nicely packaged! I actually just bought a this a second time because of how nice they all were the first time and I highly recommend this for anyone starting a collection or for a gift for little kids who like superheros. Shipping is a little longer than I would have liked even with prime but I definitely think it is worth the wait takes around 2-3 weeks to receive them. All-in-all definitely one of the better places or products for comic books on Amazon and will definitely be buying from Searchlight again!

I had initial problems as the comics arrived with the box having been broken into and some comics stolen. Also, there were some duplicates and independent comics in my Marvel and DC only order. However, after contacting Big Rob's Books, their customer service department quickly set things right. I received a replacement order within 1 week. As for the comics, condition was very good to great. Over half were boarded and bagged. Title selection was excellent. A broad range of popular titles with a few having numerical sequence, so you actually got to follow a bit of a story line. There were a few lesser known titles, but a lot of those had tie ins or guest starred known characters. Dates ranged from 1980 to 2018 with the majority being in the 1990s. Comics were appropriate for ages 13 and up. This is kinda how these comics have historically been. If you're looking for 12 and under order Archie and Disney comics (Scrooge McDuck), etc. Overall, a top rating for Big Rob's Books, and Searchlight Comics. A good product, and great customer service. I will buy from them again.

Good selection of marvel titles and mostly superman and wonder woman DC titles. My son was mad there was no sticker, then upon looking at description again noticed it said it doesn't come with one. Came nicely packed. He recieved double of 3 titles and only the cover of a title. This is really a roll of the dice because if you read the questions and reviews you will notice there are multiple sellers meaning you never know where these are coming from. All in all we gave it 3 stars because there were some comics whose value paid this collection itself but there were a few multiples and one cover only.

Came faster than expected! My daughter is a fan of comics and loves Marvel and DC so I'll be back for more! Thank you!!!

I have ordered these more times than I can count, as always, great condition, nice selection and when I am finished with them, they go in the neighborhood library boxes scattered throughout my neighborhood. Also after sooooo many orders, I have still only got a few dupes, great record keeping!
