This isn't a tea you'd drink for the pleasure of it. Having said that I quite like it and don't find it overly bitter as I see mentioned in a number of other reviews, but I've been cleansing and taking herbs for many years. My understanding regarding the bitter flavour is that this is part of it's cleansing nature, and is good for the liver and so I welcome this because I ordered the tea for the ingredients and it's action on the body. When you find the bitter taste overwhelming, it's a sign you REALLY need what's in this tea! We avoid bitter tastes in our culture, and are also overloaded with toxins - so if you're new to cleansing, you're going to find it bitter - if you want the benefits, you're going to have to find a way to get it down you! Alternatively, you could start with dandelion root tea which is a milder flavour but doesn't offer the full blend of what's in this tea.

I am ordering this detox tea for the second time. The taste is a bit bitter, but if you combine it with another herbal tea(blueberry, cherries, etc) and instead of 1 cup of water you use 2 cups , you dilute the bitter taste and it is drinkable. The detox effect is extremely good, I was bloated, with digestive problems and constipation. After 2 days, I started to feel great, o gases, no bloating and no constipation!

Reason why I like the tea is because it is very gentle unlike other teas and medicine! This is more like a nightly tea that will keep you regular! It is not a medicine for serious condition in my opinion but I guess if that was the case you would have to get the real medicine!Unfortunately I do not like the taste but I add half a lemon and it is manageable. If you like liquorice then maybe you will like the taste.Giving it 5 stars because it is very gentle on the system!

Detox tea, tastes okay, no side effects, good for digestion and is a healthy alternative. Works well to cleanse and good quality tea, I will continue with it.

This was far too bitter for me, even added a too-sweet liquid supplement to the tea, but it just made it worse, I did stick with it for a couple of weeks, but can not get used to the bitterness, have decided to use leftover tea bags as a hair spritz instead. Taking the tea internally didn't really help me to "go" more often, but increased flatulence and helped my stomach feel more settled the next day after drinking at night.

I usually get the nutraliver tea bags. Thought I’d try the extra dandelion root. The taste is strange, like the flavours don’t mix, it also tastes weak. I can get 2/3 cups out of the others but with these, even the first cup has little flavour.

Extremely well balanced flavour, fresh, herbal and refreshing. I’ve been loving this tea ever since I purchased, thought I was taking a risk buying three boxes together but huge success. I’ve recently had a gallbladder infection so I went on a search to detox the gallbladder/liver and so glad I found this, made me feel great and throughly enjoying the lovely flavour. I was a bit sceptical as I read a comment it has a synthetic flavour but not at all, it leans slightly towards a natural fennel flavour but is balanced well. You can easily get 2-3 cups out of each bag which is nice. Will be buying more for sure! Highly recommend!

This tea does not do anything, you have to let it steep for a long time to see any colour change in the water by then the water is luke warm.Not worth the money.

It works the digestive system but the taste is hard for me to get used to. It leaves a major aftertaste, too, but it works.
