I needed to convert a late 700R4 back to running a speedometer cable, I was able to do it with this kit. spoke to Blake, and was able to get the correct gear for my rear-end and tire combo. Got this product to use on my 700 R4 transmission. But it would not fit inside too many different variations of transmissions out there, so it was not an exact fit.

Transplanted a 700r4 into a 1962 C10. 700r4 had electronics prior. Ordered this part and gave CT my rear end 390 and tire height. They sent out what was needed but it was about 4-5 MPH fast based on straight road GPS. E-mailed CT and 2 days later they sent out two different gears to try which took me about 5 minutes to install and try. One of them nailed it within 1 mph and usually right on GPS. Support was fantastic. 5 stars.

The clip that holds the gear to the shaft was missing and the retainer, bolt for the retainer were also missing. Other than that it worked well.

I gave them the size of my rear tires and rear gear ratio and they give me the proper gears. My speedo is within 1-2 mph of GPS
