Perfect Fit For A 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8S. Radiator Firm And No More Play.
โ These bushings fit my 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8S perfectly. โ They are easy to install. On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is easiest and 10 is most difficult, I would rate their installation a 2 or 3. โ The old bushings were worn out, had frayed and/or cracked and were not holding the radiator firmly, causing the radiator to shake more than usual. โ The (old) bushings are held by a metal bracket. To get to the bushings, you use a 10mm socket and get the 2 bolts that hold the bracket together. For the bracket on the passenger side, you don't have to completely remove it. You just need to remove the 2 screws and lift the bracket just enough to pry off the old bushing. โ To install the new bushing in the cavity or 'hole' of the bracket, I pinched the bushing slightly to an elongated/oblong shape for easier installation. โ Once the bushing was in and the bushing grooves were slid into the bracket grooves, then I aligned the bushing opening to the radiator top bushing holder. Once aligned and the radiator supported by the bushing, I tightened the two 10 mm bolts. I had cleaned the bolts with spirit/acetone before installation to remove a bit of rust and then applied a dab of anti-seize on the bolts before tightening them. It was a bit of overkill but I felt that it was important to clean the bolts. โ The driver's side is the same for removal and installation as the passenger side. The bracket actually comes out completely. โ The radiator now is more firmly secured by the bushings and the bushings look and feel like they are of good quality.
